Thank you Mary for your encouraging words. I used to read your husband’s letters. He was a true encourager. I see that just like me, you continue in his ministry of touching others with the Gospel of hope. Though we have never met, and live continents apart, we are true sisters in Christ! I love you!

I’m trying to find my path the Lord has for me now that Bill has departed. I know He will direct me if I continue to trust Him.
Yes, we are true sisters in Christ, and we will all meet one day in our heavenly home. What a wonderful day that will be!
I love you, too, and will continue to pray for you and your ministry.

Dear Mary, Without the Holy Spirit you will be depressed, feeling lost and cheated. It is normal to mourn what was and what could have been. Use this pain as a platform to seek God more (not less) than when your husband was with you on earth. Find and rearrange your priorities. God (Jesus) was, is and always be your greatest Lover. No husband can ever compete with Jesus even in the area of romance. In my case, after 47 years of marriage, and 20 years of ministry together with Richmond (my beloved husband), I was at a sudden cross-roads with his sudden departure to heaven. I had two options: 1-to leave Nigeria and go and stay with our three adults children (and grand children) in Houston, Tx. 2-to remain in Nigeria where we started a church and continue to ministry alone. The first option was easier (for my flesh). The Holy Spirit revealed to me clearly thru a vision that I should stay in Nigeria and continue God’s work. I said: ‘Lord, I see what You want me to do. I agree with your revealed plan for my life for this season. The only problem is that I am weak (better said exhausted by mourning), physically, mentally, emotionally… If You give me the power, I will do Your work”. Suddenly, a surge of power came from on high. It filled me to overflow with a power not my own. Immediately I stood and called all people, like my children. I started preaching with an anointing that I never had before my husband went to heaven. I preached like ‘a man’ and not like a woman (if you understand what I am saying)… Lesson? Find God’s will. Ask for power. Trust Him to do more than you can imagine. He sends power to do His work. Not for entertainment but to fulfill destiny! God loves you, Mary! Trust Him! He keeps the best for the last!

I love your heart, Silvia! You have a heart for God and His eternal purpose. You chose the hard road, not the easy one. This is what I want for my life! I needed to hear these words of wisdom. Thank you, thank you, for taking the time to pour into my life. So much wisdom in your comments that I will treasure forever. Love & blessings …

  5. Amen. Thank you so much! For as long as there is internet, your testimony and strength through your words will keep on shining through to those who are ready to receive it. Thank you so much Dr. Silvia. You truly are an inspiration to me. I would love to learn more about who you are as a person. God bless you and all your loved ones.
