PRAISE REPORT
Since we have moved into our new sanctuary, the Holy Spirit is here more than ever before. One way to know it is by the numbers of people who volunteer to do ministry. Any ministry! In particular, there are so many people, men and women, who come each Saturday afternoon to clean the building, inside and outside.
Last Saturday, Pastor Leigh ‘felt sorry’ for the brethren as he saw them sweeping and moping such a big sanctuary. He called them one by one and told them that they can do it only once in two weeks. They all answered the same: “Pastor, no…we have vowed to come each Saturday to clean the house of God. Please, pastor… we are doing it for the Lord. This cleaning is worship unto the Lord…”
What can you say after such an answer? The only thing left is to thank God for His provision, who promised to build and to take care of His House! To God alone be all the glory! God bless the willing volunteers of Father’s House Bible Church!
“Your people shall be volunteers… Your troops will be willing on your day of battle. Arrayed in holy splendor, Your young men will come to You like dew from the morning’s womb” (Ps 110:3)
“Lord Jesus, we worship You…”
I received and view all the post sent to me dated October 22nd – November 2nd, 2015. My heart leap for joy as I read through.
In all the post the words flash to me like a mirror showing me my real identity in christ. And as a light showing me ways to follow. Making me to know that I have a purpose and a destiny to fulfill in life. Knowing who I am and what the Lord has freely given to us to use. And also knowing the heart beat of God which is the fathers call to worship him in spirit and in truth. Truly if we stir the gift of God in us we will never be empty nor run dry. Infact I can feel the presence of God all around me.
In today’s post “The Willing Volunteers” Something struck my mind in the statement “pastor felt sorry for them” reminded me the days of Jesus who is so compassionate on his follows, which made the world(of which I am one) to run after him like bees desiring more of his word. Praise be the Name of the Lord.
God bless you Bridget for your kind words to us!
