NIGERIA IS BORN AGAIN

“All the nations You have made will come and worship before You, Lord; they will bring glory to Your name” (Ps 86:9)

We came back to Nigeria yesterday evening. The country was still counting the votes for the election of the president. At the international airport things went smoothly. Less begging, greetings for money, manipulation or oppression. From the airport to the hotel we did not see any car or human being. The streets were deserted. It was quiet everywhere. in the past, men will fight on the streets causing confusion. We have a driver friend who comes to help us each time we need him. He told us that “if it is not for you oga, I could not have come”. He said that all people in Lagos feared violence that is why they stayed indoors. The fear of God was strong in the land. The next day at the domestic airport things went well too. No more pushing, jumping the line, quarreling or talking loudly. The plane to Warri was supposed to leave at 8 am. It was raining. I thought that we shall wait there for hours. That it is how it was in the past. Any excuse is good to break the law. But it left 8:15 without any incidents. In conclusion, coming back to Nigeria was much better, easier and better than in the past.

As I am written this note, the final winner of the election has not yet been announced. But God has answered our prayer for peace in the land. I feel that a demon, a territorial spirit has left Nigeria. We have been praying against the wicked evil spirit of Jezebel who keeps nations in bondage. Since yesterday I feel that the demon has lost its ground and has abandoned Nigeria. Spiritually speaking I felt a new sense of hope for this troubled country. Light is shining. I feel free. I live in Nigeria since 1980. I never felt so good, so proud, so happy to come home. In the past, men and women look foolish or fake on the TV. But now I saw a wisdom, humility, good healthy patriotism and a new sense of responsibility. Whoever they will announce as the winner of the elections, one thing is for sure: Things will be better because Nigeria is born again today! I believe therefore I have spoken! Blessings on all who pray for Africa, for the believers in Nigeria in particular! God bless Nigeria! Praise the Lord!!!!!!

TRAINING THE YOUNG

“And so train the young women to love their husbands and children” (Tit 2:4)

Yesterday was our last day in Houston (for now). I chose to spend it in our daughter’s kitchen. We went to buy groceries to cook Nigerian beef stew. Her husband asked her why are we not doing more ‘fun stuff’? I told him that reminding Jemine of the classical recipe for Nigerian stew is fun enough for me. The best way to teach cooking is to be practical: how many ‘tatashi’ pepper (American style) combined with hot pepper and tomatoes… how to fry them, not too much and not too little… If you are a Nigerian, you know what I mean…

To be ‘a far away mother’ is not easy. I can talk and pray with her on the phone but some things must be done face to face. Cooking stew, for example, must be done together, hands on, in the kitchen. The taste, the look, the smell, the color…all must be right. I don’t want her to miss the stew in my absence. I don’t want her to cook it in any other way. She was born in Nigeria and she should do it right. Thank God Matthew likes it too.

Then we talked some ‘deep’ things about marriage, children, church and life in general. Today I feel like a mother and I am happy. Thank You Lord Jesus! For the pleasure of simple things in life, for the gift of being a mother, a grandmother… For family and friends, when I can be myself and do what I want! Without apologies… I am grateful, Lord!

MANY PLANS AND ONE PURPOSE

“You can make many plans, but the LORD’s purpose will prevail”(PV 19:21)

We are almost at the end of our journey, for now… It is interesting for me to look back and analyze the trip in totality. We have prayed at the beginning that God should lead, provide, protect and be in charge. We had some needs and many wants. We needed to buy the ACs for our new sanctuary. That was a great project. We had some anxiety about the way we shall fulfill it in less than two weeks.

Looking back I can confirm these statements: God has indeed heard our prayer/ God has lead the way/ God has provided much more than our calculations/ God has given us supernatural favor with the dealers and shippers/ God had helped us with a deals than we could have imagined/ God helped us to finish the arrangements faster than we thought, giving us an allowance of four days to just rest and visit with the family/ God proved to us that anxiety was not necessary/ God proved to be our God/ God rewarded our faith in Him!

I love God! Not only I love Him but I really like God as a Person, a Friend! Human beings make many plans, hoping that one will be acceptable by God. The many plans bring confusion and anxiety when thinking about the success of a project. In contrast, God never makes many plans. He always has only one plan, to glorify Himself in our lives and circumstances. That is His purpose. He never repents, never changes. God never regrets anything! God can never be disappointed. His unique plan overrules the many petty plans we surround ourselves with, just to feel secure. God is sovereign and Almighty! He has all the resources and power to do all things, just for His pleasure. He then shares His joy with us! Our duty as children is to find out the ‘one purpose’ of God for our lives. Thru prayer and the study of the Word, God will graciously reveal His unique plan that never fails. All creation, all circumstances have to align with God’s perfect will. My strong desire is to stop making useless plans for myself, and to understand, to obey God’s unbeatable plan for my life and for my family. Then I walk in glory!
In Jesus name, amen!

NIGERIA REJOICES

“Let all creation rejoice before the LORD, for He comes! He comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples in His faithfulness” (Ps 96:13)

Today Nigeria votes! A new head of state shall be chosen by the people!
I am a foreigner living in Nigeria. God sent me there to do His work! I am not a politician. I do not vote. But I can pray! And I shall rejoice! God is in control of Nigeria! Let God’s will be done, in Jesus name!

SELFISH EVIL ISOLATION

“One who isolates himself pursues selfish desires; he rebels against all sound judgment…An unfriendly man pursues selfishness, and defies all sound judgment” (PV 18:1)

I just heard this sad story on the TV. A pilot deliberately crashed himself and the plane, killing more than 150 passengers. He was a young man of 27, training to become a professional pilot. Flying in the air he waited for his boss, the senior pilot, to go out of the cabin, possibly to the rest room. Then he locked himself in the cockpit and reprogrammed the plane to crash. His boss came back after few minutes and he was heard banging at the door to enter. But the co-pilot locked himself in and no one could open the door. They said he was suffering from depression but he hid his medical report from the airline company, for fear that he may be fired. He killed himself and all the passengers. So, so sad…

Spiritually speaking this was an attack from an evil spirit. The demon manifested itself as fear, depression, loneliness, isolation, selfishness, wickedness and rebellion. It finally manifested itself as a suicide evil spirit. This young man destroyed himself and all others because he gave the demon control over his mind and spirit. Our Lord said that the devil comes only to ‘kill, steal and destroy’ (Jn 10:10). Rebellion is as sinful as witchcraft (1Sam 15:23). Alone in the cockpit, ignoring the knock at the door and the pleading of his boss to let him in, ignoring the screams of the passengers, he crashed the plane into the mountains. The doctors try now to find a solution for this madness. But the problem is more spiritual than medical. Here we see how the demon deceived him and the Airline staff. They all said he looked healthy and that he passed all the medical tests. They said that ‘flying was his hobby and he was happiest when in the air’.

As you can see, selfish isolation from the Body of Christ and unfriendliness are sinful. These are some serious questions for us all…are you under attack from evil spirits of fear, confusion, loneliness, depression? Do you have a tendency to isolate yourself from people? Are you unfriendly? Do you dislike or hate your boss, your pastor, your teacher, your elders or your parents? Do you dream or imagine death, suicide or horror scenes? Did you go to any shrine to partake from native medicines? Do false prophets prophesied negative things to you?

Then pray and ask God Almighty for help, in the name of Jesus! It is not too late! Do not be ashamed or afraid to pray! There is salvation, healing and deliverance in the name of Jesus! There is hope, peace and joy in the name of Jesus! Do not ‘die in silence’! Pray!!! Resist and rebuke the devil, in the name of Jesus! He will flee from you! And God will answer you in your time of need!
Hear me, in Christ, there is hope, my friend!

SEEK GOD FIRST

“But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides” (Mt 6:33;AMP)

Yesterday we went to the shipper. I saw a Nigerian lady there. She was dressed in the nursing uniform. She was waiting to send some foodstuffs to her mum in Nigeria. She looked tired and sad. I just took the opportunity and went to her. I introduced myself, telling her I live in Warri. She was very surprised. I then asked her what is her prayer request, what does she want God to do for her. She told me she has been in the US for the part twenty years. She did not go home for a long time. Her dad died last year. She felt guilty for not being around. Her mum is old. But now, she has made up her mind to finally go back to Nigeria this year. Her husband is already there, trying to finish their house in Owerri.

She was worried about the transition, the lack of money to go back and start a new life there. I then quoted Matthew 6:33 to her. She suddenly started weeping saying…’oh, I just forgot this scripture…it is so good to be reminded of the Word of God…thank you ma’m for reminding me of the truth…yes, I will go back to the Bible and seek God afresh, serve Him more…then the money will come…I am so relived now that my priorities are right…so easy…thank you again, Ma…’

You can see the power of the anointing and the spoken Word! The Word of God heals the broken hearts and brings light in the darkest hour! May you have more courage to speak it out to people, even to the strangers God brings your way! May you allow the Holy Spirit to remind you of the Rhema Word today! May you apply the a Word of God to your situation! May the Word of God revive and refresh your spirit today! In Jesus name, amen!

WALK BY FAITH

“Do not fear what they fear and do not dread it.
The Lord Almighty is the One you are to regard as holy,
He is the one you are to fear,
He is the one you are to dread” (Is 8:12, 13)

The walk of faith is peculiar to the born again believer. There is some anxiety connected with it. For example, when we came here to buy the ACs for the church, it was not an easy trip. You can’t call it a relaxing vacation. The reason is that we cannot afford to make any mistakes. The money belongs to God. The sanctuary belongs to a God. The ACs are not toys; they are big expensive things. We are not engineers. We needed to depend on the Holy Spirit all the way: Where to go, what to buy, how much to spend… We are not in charge. God is! This anxiety (or fear) based on faith and prayer is healthy. It just stretches us to trust God for miracles, for greater things, much more than we could have planed by our power. This fear is good!

Then there is another type of fear. It is of the world, of the flesh. It is the fear men experience when they plan things by themselves hoping that God will approve of them. It is the fear when men go ahead to provide for themselves, using their own power or wisdom. They assume that they are in charge. This worldly fear comes when walking by sight and not by faith. This anxiety is toxic and poisonous. It ends in depression, high blood pressure and other diseases. This fear is bad!

So you see, you cannot live this life on earth completely free from anxiety. The question is this: what type of fear is your companion? The fear of The Lord, the desire to please Him? That is the only clean pure and healthy fear. All the rest, you should reject them thru prayer. ‘For God has not given us the spirit of fear but of power love and sound mind’ (2Tim 1:7).

This is our testimony: we walk by faith! By the grace of God we bought the best ACs in the market at the lowest price in the market. This can only be God! Please, give God all the glory!

In Christ I declare:
I fear God! I fear to grieve the Holy Spirit!
I desire to please God! I love God!
I fear no devils, men or circumstances!
I am free!
In Jesus name
Amen!

GOD’S PROMISES TO ME

“Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by Me; whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake. If anyone does attack you (dares to challenge you, conspires against you) it will not be My doing; whoever attacks you will surrender to you (will be defeated by you)” (Is 54:15)

These are some of the promises of God to His people as found in Isaiah 54:
The barren woman shall have children!
The depressed shall sing for joy!
You shall be promoted and shall experience increase in business!
Your children shall be settled!
Your children shall love the Bible, have great peace and shall be disciples of Jesus!
You are forgiven and shall forget the shameful sins and mistakes of your youth!
You are free from fears and oppression!
The prodigals, the backsliders shall return back to their God!
God will not be angry with you but have compassion on you!
God will reveal His everlasting love and peace to you!
The attacks against you shall stop and your enemies shall be defeated by you!
No weapon formed against you shall prosper!
You shall refute every tongue that accuses you!
This is your heritage from your Lord!

Have no doubt! Every contrary statement against these promises shall surely fail! Every person prophesying against these promises of God shall be defeated by you! There is no hope in this battle for your enemies! Have faith in God that you shall experience great victory, a testimony to God! In Jesus name, amen!

BY THE GRACE OF GOD

“But by the grace (the unmerited favor and blessing) of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not [found to be] for nothing (fruitless and without effect). In fact, I worked harder than all of them [the apostles], though it was not really I, but the grace (the unmerited favor and blessing) of God which was with me” (1Cor 15:10; AMP)

By the grace of God I am a new creation in Christ Jesus, a child and a servant of God Almighty. This is my story…this is my song! The ‘old’ me died long ago. I am totally different from the person my mother brought into this world. My present identity is ‘designed and produced’ by the grace of God. No man can take the glory!

Grace is defined as the un-merited favor of God. Let me make it more personal…I used to be foolish and shy. I do not merit to be different but I now find a new supernatural wisdom working in me. I used to be easily deceived and confused by life events. I do not merit to be different but now, I find in me a new strong will to please God and the strength to reject the voice of the enemy. I used to think I am ‘a nobody’. I do not merit to be ‘a somebody’ but here I am, fearfully and wonderfully made. As the mercies of God are new every morning, so my life is new every morning. The way I see myself, I will never become old…this is a miracle that I chose to believe!

If you see what I see, then ‘tap’ from this anointing. From this new level of mercy and grace, dear children, I bless you afresh!

God bless you!
In Jesus name,
Amen!

OPEN DOOR OF FAITH

“On arriving there, they gathered the church together and reported all that God had done through them and how he had opened a door of faith to the Gentiles” (Ac 14:27)

We went to a bank yesterday. Each morning we always pray that the Holy Spirit will direct our path and give us favor with people. It means that each person we talk too during the day is chosen by God to hear the sound of our voices, no matter the subject. Indirectly the listener shall hear and receive wisdom, peace, faith, joy and hope, by the Holy Spirit.

They directed us to see one of the ‘personal bankers’, an Asian man. He said that I have been qualified to have a better credit card with greater advantages. Then he went out of his way to help us apply for it. He even asked to send it over-night at no cost at all. Then he asked me some ‘secret questions for banking privacy’. One of them was this: ‘who is your favorite historical character?’ Of course my answer was ‘Jesus Christ’. No shaking! In Warri, Houston and all over this earth, my answer is the same! I was so happy I could call my Savior’s name in a sterile bank office in Houston, where all men only whisper when they talk!

(Just in case you are worried about my lack of privacy, to publicly say on Facebook my secret answer… have peace…for even in my dreams, I shall publicly declare that my ‘favorite Person in history’ is my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ)

At last, the man was done with my application. We were ready to go. Suddenly I sensed an open door of faith. I felt the lead of the Spirit to ‘invest destiny’ in this man, a potential brother in Christ. I grabbed the opportunity given by the Holy Spirit and boldly passed thru this ‘open door of faith to the Gentiles’. I asked him if we can pray for him, what are his needs or desires (in America you always need to ask if you can pray, for many people say no). In a hushed voice he said ‘good health’. I said ‘that it too little, add more, for we shall apply directly to Jehovah Jireh, our Banker, who can do all things’. He was so surprised… Then Tali asked him: ‘are you married?’ He said no. Immediately, we held his hands above the cold glass table. No time to waste… Before the devil came back from break, we prayed for him. We asked God to grant him the revelation of his Savior and also good health, good marriage, promotion in the office and financial breakthrough. He then whispered: ‘is this request not too much?’ We confidently said ‘no’. Then he said what we said: ‘amen’. So sweet…

We do not know if he was a religious man or not when he left his house in the morning. But after that prayer, he was surely a different man. Tali asked him what will he do if God answers this prayer. He simply said ‘I will be grateful’. We said that is a good answer, for now. This man filled my form for a better credit with his bank. We helped him fill his application form with our Bank in Heaven. This man does not know yet, but he touched ‘gold’ this morning. I can see his future happy in Christ. This was a good transaction for us all. I am happy! The day has started well. To God be all the glory! Amen!

THE COMFORTER HAS COME

Jesus said: “Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is expedient for you that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send Him unto you” (Jn 16:7)

We came to Houston to buy the air conditioners for our new sanctuary. We came to a company that was selling them. The owner of the company received was very well. He gave us his business card on which it was written: ‘Your comfort is our business’. He said that was their motto. After we finished our discussions, we told him that our ‘motto’ is the same. He was so surprised. Then we told him about Jesus and the Holy Spirit, who is the true Comforter. He told us that he is married for ten years but no child. We asked if we can pray for him and he said yes. We prayed and prophesied that in one year from now, himself and his wife shall have a baby. He was doubly surprised. May these words come to pass in the name of Jesus!

Yes, you need more than cool air to experience comfort in this life. Yes, your need for the Holy Comforter is our blessed business! I love my Father’s business!

DOING WHAT I AM DOING

“And I will keep on doing what I am doing in order to cut the ground from under those who want an opportunity to be considered equal with us in the things they boast about. For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve” (2Cor 11:12-15)

This is the prescribed method of warfare when under attack from ‘satan himself’ thru his human agents. These are religious people, pretending to be born again Christians. But they are fake to the core. The only way satan can succeed to win any territory or credit from the true believers, is thru deception. Be warned! Be watchful against the possibility of deception! Do not trust your natural senses, especially your eyes. For sights can deceive. On the surface a thief looks good and a adulterer looks holy. A manipulator may have a good opera voice and a liar may graduate from a Bible school. Fight to know the truth. It is a good and holy fight. Each drop of revelation truth will give you tones of freedom. Chose to defeat deception to get a breakthrough into the land of Spirit’s holy freedom.

The best method of warfare prescribed in the Bible is to ‘continue to do what you are already doing’. It means that you have to continue to serve God the best way you can. Do not stop serving God and men! Learn to die to the sweet voices of these false brethren. Like Nehemiah said when under a similar attack: ‘how can I abandon such a good work I am doing, to build the city and the house of God, and come to chat with you? I will not come!’

Do not interrupt the flow of the Spirit in ministry just because some idle evil religious men are dying of envy of you. Learn to avoid such useless and dangerous distractions. Remain focused keeping your eyes on Jesus. He conquered the world and in His name, you can do the same. Sooner or later you shall see defeat in the camp of the opposition. It shall come swiftly. It is a God’ promise of justice. You shall rejoice with a new joy not know before. And God will be glorified!

I LACK NOTHING

“For the Lord your God has blessed you in all the work of your hands. He knows your going through this great wilderness. These forty years the Lord your God has been with you. You have lacked nothing.”
“For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land… in which you will lack nothing… And you shall eat and be full, and you shall bless the Lord your God for the good land he has given you” (Deut 2:7; 8:7-10)

These days I look at myself and wonder… I am a miracle to myself. I feel like lighter, like something is missing… something bad and negative is not here anymore. So I asked myself: ‘what can this thing be?’ I had to examine myself. This is what I discovered: I have lost my ‘wants’. Do you know what I mean?

“The Lord is my Shepherd and I shall not want” (Ps 23:1). This wonderful word of God has been fulfilled in my life. I testify that I have lost my anxiety of wanting things to change, the desire to acquire things for the sake of having them, the passion to please men and the wish to be different than I am today. Like a sheep and her Shepherd, the Lord takes care of me. My faith is now deep, anchored in the promises of God. In the past, I lacked nothing. Even in the difficult season of the desert of my life, when things look hard and often hopeless, looking back I can say that I lacked nothing of value. Then God promises me than even in the future I shall lack nothing.

So why worry? Past, present and future is settled. Things and circumstances may change but God never changes. This is my declaration: I shall not want! I shall lack nothing! For Jesus is my Savior and y Lord! The Word of God abides forever. ‘Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever’ (Hebrew 13:8). To God be all the glory!

THE SOUND OF VICTORY

“A wise man scales the city walls of the mighty and brings down the stronghold in which they trust” (PV 21:22)

To scale the walls of a city is a form of spiritual warfare. You place the ladder of the Word of God on the wall, climb on it and enter the stronghold from above. This is the city of the devil, who is a thief and a liar. He has captured the souls of men. Many foolish men are his victims. The devil deceives himself that his victory is eternal. That is a lie! His army is able to fight back against foolish adventurers. But no devil is able to win against the wise children of God who trust Him with all their heart.

You need to learn and practice the spiritual art of intercession. It is not just theory. It is a holy activity lead and empowered by the Spirit. It is a passion that is rooted in true love for God and for the souls of men.

You already know that somebody you love is in bondage, unable to move, to make progress and even to breathe. You feel compassion but you wonder if you can help. Pity without action will end in frustration. In Christ, you have all that you need to be a champion, to win any battle that will glorify The Lord. Do not ‘play safe’! That is the game of the coward, the loser. If Jesus played it safe, no man will go to heaven. Do what The Lord did. The same Jesus who went down from heaven to earth, is the same who, after finishing His work, went back to heaven as the King of kings. Pray for understanding, for wisdom, for strength to do God’s will in your particular situation. Learn the dance of the angels, going up and down, on the ladder Jacob saw in the desert of life. Do not run on earth from left to right, like an hunted terrified antelope, a restless soul with no address. But go up and down the ladder touching heaven, serving God and saving the souls of men. That is what champions do!

Wisdom means to apply the scriptures in practical life. Read and meditate on the Word of God. Then apply them! Armed with faith in the promises of God, boldly attack the stronghold of the devil. There are many victims in that hunted city waiting to hear the sound of victory. Fear not, for God is with you! You shall enter in the territory of the evil one, and he shall retreat. For the devil cannot resist the name of Jesus and the anointing of the Holy Spirit on you!

Have you seen the video clip showing the prisoners at the end of the Second World War? They looked dry like bones. Many of their mates died. But when the victorious army entered the dirty death-smelling prison camp, the survivors came out from their cells, and the chains fell of their ankles. Keep hope alive so that you share with the hopeless! Trust God 100%! Jesus Christ is the Savior of men! He died that men may live! Enroll in His army that knows no defeat. He who thru intercession saves the souls of men is wise and shall be rewarded by the Captain of our salvation! These things are true. I practice them. I see results. As you cannot hide evil things forever, so good things done for the glory of God cannot remain under a bushel for a long time.

Are you hearing the sound of victory? I do! Let the true champions come forth! Let your light shine, for this is your destiny! All to the glory of God! In Jesus name, amen!

SWADDLED BABY

“And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.” (Lk 2:12)

We came to visit our children in Houston. We met the youngest member of our family, baby Oliver Sisan Oakes. He is five weeks old. After his evening bath, his parents wrap him in a special blanket to keep him from being over active when it is time to sleep. This is called swaddling. It is quite common in Romania from where I come from. It helps the children to sleep better, to learn discipline early in life. This method was also commonly practiced in Israel, when Jesus, our Lord was born.

This was the message given by the angels to the shepherds. Baby Jesus shall be found by them. He will be swaddled, wrapped in clothes, like a butterfly in the making, hidden in his cocoon. Soon, the butterfly will be free and fly. But until then, he needs to stay hidden and quiet. He will not move an inch to find anyone. Men must leave their ‘sheep’ and go to find the Savior of the world. Have you find Him, of whom the angels worship? His name is Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God!

In the picture is baby Oliver, in his bed, swaddled and ready to sleep. Is he not just sweet?Oliver 6

PRAISE REPORT

“Jesus presented another parable to them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field; and this is smaller than all other seeds, but when it is full grown, it is larger than the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that THE BIRDS OF THE AIR come and NEST IN ITS BRANCHES.” (Mt 13:31,32)

Today our church Father’s House Bible Church is 15 years old on earth and eternal in heaven! We started with 12 adults and 3 children. We are now too many to count. The Gospel of Christ Crucified and Resurrected has been preached. Praise and worship rises to God! Sinners got saved. Lives are changed forever! To God be all the glory!

YOUR LOVES

“For Your love is better than wine” (SS 1:2)

Today is my birthday. The greatest feeling I woke up with this morning is gratefulness. God is good to me, to my family, natural and spiritual. God has completely changed my identity as a person. I once was blind but now I see…not just see, but daily behold the beauty of my Lord. I once was a weak willed silly woman pretending to be wise, but now I have the very mind of Christ, to think after His thoughts, to fellowship with His Spirit. I can’t count my years on earth for eternity has swallowed that number.

In Hebrew, the word ‘love’ in the scripture above is plural. It is better translated like this: “Your LOVES are better than wine”…better than any earthly joy, better than any earthly passion known by men in this world. There is comforting love, sustaining love, encouraging love, directing love, embracing love, healing love, forgiving love, and redeeming love… Love poured out from Calvary to us…nothing equals it…eternally ours…

“Lord, I am grateful…”

NEW EVERY MORNING

“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness” (Lam 3:22, 23)

It is early morning. I am excited about today. Not just about the things to see or do, but about my God, always here with me, faithful and true. I am never alone, not just at home where I live amongst family and friends, but everywhere, even in my travels, in the midst of strangers. Emmanuel, God is with us… He daily dispenses a fresh holy pure passionate complete dose of heavenly love and original mercy.

God’s love is steadfast. What it is the meaning of ‘steadfast’? It means to be fixed in one direction, in one place and one position. It does not waver from its original purpose, faith and attachment. Simply said, if God said that He loves you, then He will love you forever. He will pity you forever. No matter what, His love shall never depart from you. This promise stands because God is eternal and faithful. He alone can afford such a mighty promise. This is so comforting to know…

If you are God’s child, then each morning you shall feel His steadfast and faithful love. It is unshakable, the proof that Jesus is the Rock of Ages. His love will carry you on eagle’ s wings, morning, afternoon, evening and night. That will be your testimony today. And tomorrow, as the day breaks, you shall meet it again, fresh and strong, a sign that God is Ancient but He never gets old. God’s love does not expires, fades, weakens, gets sick or dies. God is not like man. He will never betray you. Be sure you believe this in the depth of your soul.

Do not just worry about today or on behalf of tomorrow. God’s love will swallow your troubles just like Moses’ serpent swallowed the serpents of the magicians in Egypt. Just position yourself to be steadfast and faithful in your praises to God. For He is worthy! Good morning, children…
Praise The Lord!

WISE WORDS

“Thankfulness is a response attitude to grace. And a thankful heart directed to God, is an indirect proclamation to the principalities and powers, about the finished work of Christ’s cross, and the resultant victory”
(Steve Haworth)

“giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ” (Eph 5:20)
