“In many separate revelations [each of which set forth a portion of the Truth] and in different ways God spoke of old to [our] forefathers in and by the prophets. [But] in the last of these days He has spoken to us in [the person of a] Son, Whom He appointed Heir and lawful Owner of all things, also by and through Whom He created the worlds and the reaches of space and the ages of time [He made, produced, built, operated, and arranged them in order]. He (Jesus Christ) is the sole expression of the glory of God [the Light-being, the out-raying or radiance of the divine], and He is the perfect imprint and very image of [God’s] nature, upholding and maintaining and guiding and propelling the universe by His mighty word of power. When He had by offering Himself accomplished our cleansing of sins and riddance of guilt, He sat down at the right hand of the divine Majesty on high” (Heb 1:1-3, AMP)

These are the practical revelations I gleaned this morning from the Word of God:
God the Father speaks. Christ also speaks. God, the Holy Spirit speaks often. God uses different means to speak to me. I pray that my ears and my heart will hear and (instantly, totally and joyfully) obey God’s Word and His voice. God starts to speak thru the prophets and ends speaking thru His Beloved Son, Jesus Christ. I should study the whole Bible, the Old and the New Testaments. Like the miracle of water becoming wine provided by Jesus at the wedding in Cana, God keeps the best gifts and most wonderful promises for the last. I should not panic that my waiting time is too long. There is nothing like ‘too late’ for God. I should patiently wait for God to upgrade my life as His Word comes to me in a stronger and more direct way.

The Lord Jesus Christ is my personal Savior and Master. God created all things thru Him and for Him. Jesus was appointed by the Father to be the Heir of all things in the universe. As a child of God, I am co-heir with Christ. In Him I have all authority and posses all things. In Him I can never be a slave or a beggar. I reject all feelings of inferiority, failure and poverty. ‘The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want’. ‘I am fearfully and wonderfully made’ by God! No contrary voice can argue about my identity in Christ!

The Bible is the Word of God. It is God’s Word of POWER. The more I read it and believe it, the stronger my spirit becomes. Like a pregnancy, the Word of God grows in me. It is also called ‘Christ in me the Hope of Glory’. Even in my weakness, thru Faith in the Word of God, I am able to create, sustain and enjoy a supernatural life style where miracles are my daily bread. I shall study the Word of God more than ever before. I watch as my faith increases every day. Mountains of problems crumble before my eyes and are cast into the sea. The valleys of hidden anxieties are filled with the gold of the assurance of my salvation. Therefore, my feet are stable on the flat ground of victory, for easy walking in the Spirit. My progress is sure and fast.

I feel good this morning. Join me in celebrating Christ! I feel propelled by God’s powerful Word! I am moving forward in my faith! The gates of hell cannot prevail! My future is surely better than my past. He has made me glad… This is the day The Lord has made. I shall rejoice and be glad in it! Glory to God!

“Since we have such a huge crowd of men of faith watching us from the grandstands, let us strip off anything that slows us down or holds us back, and especially those sins that wrap themselves so tightly around our feet and trip us up; and let us run with patience the particular race that God has set before us. Keep your eyes on Jesus, our leader and instructor. He was willing to die a shameful death on the cross because of the joy He knew would be His afterwards; and now He sits in the place of honor by the throne of God” (Heb 12:1, 2)

We are right now in a country where the Christian population is just 9% and it is made of only foreign workers. We attended the mid week service in one of the evangelistic churches. We were inspired by the preacher who said:

“Life is hard. Giving up your faith in God is not an option. When you walk with God you are not free from problems. But God is with you right in the middle of it all. Nothing is new to God. He knows the future. Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Job, Joshua, Daniel, the woman with the issue of blood, apostle Paul and many other heroes of faith, these all ran the race to the end. You must do the same!

You are not alone. God is stretching His hand towards you. Continue to pray. God is a God who answers prayer. When He keeps silent, God works on your behalf. God is with you wherever you go. The Bible is your ‘Bank account’. When you are in need, open the Bible and you shall surely find the answer between its pages. With men things are impossible. With with God all things are possible.

We may feel alone, but we aren’t. We are surrounded by an army of witnesses. They have run the race of faith and finished well. It is now our turn. Struggles may come. Do not hate them. Do not fight them. Do not reject them. Embrace them. God uses struggles to bring you closer to Him and to change you to be like Jesus. Do not say: I am in a terrible situation. Say: I am in the middle of a miracle! God will do awesome things in 2017 if you believe! Revival shall come! Jesus is Lord! Be strong in The Lord and in the power of His might! It is well with you! In Jesus name, amen!

“So I recommend the enjoyment [of life]. People have nothing better to do under the sun than to eat, drink, and enjoy themselves. This joy will stay with them while they work hard during their brief lives which God has given them under the sun” (Ecc 8:15)

Most people assume that if they have some extra money, they will enjoy life automatically. This is a lie. Money cannot buy happiness. The enjoyment of life does not come easily. It is the gift of God. God commands His children to enjoy their life on earth as they are waiting for heaven to become a reality. You work and you enjoy. You talk and you pray. You make money and you spend money. All things must be balanced to become useful and beautiful. Guilt, shame and anxiety must die so that you can experience the freedom of pure enjoyment. Very few people are able to live well. By the grace of God I am one of them. I have eternal life in my soul. I enjoy my life here on earth. The Almighty God is my Heavenly Father, the provider of all good things which come free of sorrow. I wish you feel what I feel… As a medical doctor, as a pastor and friend, I recommend that you should work hard and enjoy your life! In Jesus name, amen!

“Obey your spiritual leaders and submit to them [continually recognizing their authority over you], for they are constantly keeping watch over your souls and guarding your spiritual welfare, as men who will have to render an account [of their trust]. [Do your part to] let them do this with gladness and not with sighing and groaning, for that would not be profitable to you either” (Heb 13:17; AMP)

The Body of Christ is One! It is a spiritual Body made of many living parts but all united by the Holy Spirit, in a single purpose to the glory of God. ‘Attending a church’ is much more than ‘attending a church’. The Holy Spirit has to lead you to a particular local assembly. Pray for direction. Choosing a church for your family is a very serious matter, even more serious than choosing a school for your children. It is not enough to like the music or the pastor. You become a part of a spiritual family. There are duties and responsibilities. There are consequences too. You need to submit to God and to His delegated authority in that church. God monitors your relationship with your pastor who is your spiritual covering. Submission brings blessings to you and your pastor. Rebellion brings trouble to everybody.

(We are visiting a country where church services are held on Fridays. This is Sunday morning. It is a regular day of work here. I miss church back home…)

This morning pray for wisdom. If you have peace in the church you attend, if you and your pastor are a blessing to one another, to the glory of God, then give thanks to God! As a pastor, I speak blessings on you! In Jesus name, amen!

We arrived in Lagos yesterday. Pastor Tony, his wife and daughter, my husband and I we entered a mini bus from the airport to the hotel. Suddenly we saw a police van following us and commanding us to stop. Three police men came towards our car and shouted that our driver (a young man of about 30) crossed on red. The driver was explaining that he did it on yellow. There was a heated argument between the driver and the police. Pastor Tony wanted to say something but my husband said we should all keep quiet for now. Then the police said that we should follow their van to the police station. We quietly agreed. We started driving quietly praying in the Spirit. After about ten minutes the police van suddenly stopped along the road and one of them came down to talk again with our driver. Then my husband called him to his side and said:

‘Officer, you insist that our young driver made a mistake and you want to punish all of us for that. May God not allow you to taste from this cup you offer us today! May God not allow you to fall into the hands of your seniors who will monitor and punish you for every mistake you make! Do you know the story in the Bible, about the woman who was caught in adultery? The self righteous men wanted to stone her to death. But when Jesus confronted them, they dropped their stones and went away sobered. You insist that our driver broke the traffic law. That is ok. But you broke a higher law by taking all of us to police station. You broke a spiritual law. You looked inside the car and saw all of us. Look at me well. I am not a young man. You want to arrest your father. You judge who broke a higher law. It is only those who show mercy that shall receive mercy. Judge yourself…’

My husband was talking slowly, in a quiet voice. The anointing of a true father was clearly upon him. The police man listened to the words and could not move. I could feel the presence of the Holy Spirit all around us. Ministry was going on. Police men arrested the children of God. But now, The Holy Spirit arrested a man who I believe God was calling to salvation. This was ‘church’ going on along a dusty road of Lagos… Then the police man said that his ‘Oga’ is in the van. He went to talk to him and came back. The Oga himself came and said that we are free to go. He also offered that they can follow us back to the airport as an escort. We declined saying that we are on our way to the hotel. We thanked them and spoke blessings on them. See how things have changed. There was no quarrel and no bribe. Only the power of the Word of God! Great lesson for all!

May God show you mercy! May God intervene in all your crises! May God overrule the decision of your enemies! May Give you divine wisdom to deal with unexpected situations in life! May God bless the words of your mouth! May God change your sorrow into joy! In Jesus name, amen!

“God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground” (Gen 1:28)

The women’ fellowship was very good. We are in a season of fasting, prayer and waiting on God. We expect great things to happen, miracles, wonderful breakthroughs in all areas of our lives. According to the scripture above, God has blessed us. The blessings of God rest upon us, our husbands, marriages, children, grandchildren, the work of our hands and our testimonies. The blessings of God come full of joy and without sorrow. We reject every contrary lying voice of curses in the name of Jesus!

God speaks to us. We trust God that before now and the end of the first week in February, God the Holy Spirit shall call your name and speak a word of life into you that will propel you into a higher level, spiritually and naturally. God’s word shall push you into His plan for you. God has approved your holy promotion. The blessing of God surrounds you like a wall round about. The devil has no space to enter.

God commands us to be fruitful and to increase in number. To be fruitful it means to have children, naturally and spiritually. Like an orange tree produces oranges, so your life shall produce fruits that will resemble you. But to be fruitful it is not enough. You fruits shall increase in number by the power of God. This is the command of God. For example a woman who has ten children is called fruitful. But if all her children die premature death, she loses that ‘title’ of fruitfulness. The true blessing of fruitfulness from God is designed to increase the number of the fruits by the power God has deposited in them.

This is my confession: my children shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord! My children shall be fruitful themselves and produce grandchildren. In the same way, I cannot work until I am old for every naira in my account (naira is the Nigerian currency).  My naira shall start producing ‘grand-naira’. My business shall produce ‘grand-business’. My profit shall produce its own profit, in the name of Jesus!

In the name of Jesus I declare that you shall work less and produce more. Your blessings shall not reduce but increase to the glory of God. You shall rule over the fish, birds and things that ‘move on the ground’. These are the microbes, viruses and parasites living in the dust. You have the authority of heaven to restrict their movement into your body, into your children’s bodies.   No sickness should invade you or your family without your ‘permission’. At the name of Jesus every knee shall bow. I command all sicknesses to bow and go away! In Jesus name, amen! Poverty bow and run away! In Jesus name, amen!

We ended the meeting giving thanks to God! We vowed to give God alone all the glory! In Jesus name, amen! We sang: “Doh, Doh, Doh, Oghene Doh…” (Thank You Lord!)

“Because the Lord had closed Hannah’s womb, her rival kept provoking her in order to irritate her. This went on year after year. Whenever Hannah went up to the house of the Lord, her rival provoked her till she wept and would not eat” (1Sam 1:6, 7)

“There are those who rebel against the light,

who do not know its ways

or stay in its paths…

They prey on the barren and childless woman,

and to the widow they show no kindness.

But God drags away the mighty by his power;

though they become established, they have no assurance of life” (Job 24:13, 21, 22)

As I said yesterday, a number of Christian women asked me to pray for them, that they marry and have children. Some are young and some are not so young. I feel compassion for them because I am a mother and a grandmother. For their sake I decided to study again the scriptures that promise natural and spiritual fruitfulness. I recommend that you fast and pray. Meditate upon the revelation of the Word of God. It is the will of God for you to marry and have children. But the devil hates that. I join my faith with yours. I believe that God will answer your prayers! I believe that your dream will come true! In Christ, the victory and the testimony is sure!

As you pray to have a baby, you may be in Hannah’s position. She was a woman of God, married, but she had no children. In Hebrew, her name means grace, favor, mercy and humility (she bows down and helps others, even those who are inferior to her). It also means prayer and supplications. Her husband, Elkanah loves her but possibly under pressure from his family he marries a second wife called Penninah with whom he has children. Penninah is a wicked woman. She is jealous on the love their husband has for Hannah. She takes advantage of the fact that Hannah is barren because ‘the Lord has closed her womb’. The wicked woman takes pleasure in continuously provoking and irritating Hannah. The effect of these actions is that Hannah weeps and cannot eat. She loses weight and she looks depressed. Even in the church she is sad. In Hebrew, the verbs ‘to provoke and to irritate’ describe a female enemy who pushes another woman to the wall causing anger and exasperation. It means to greatly oppress another, to cause violent anxiety as the wicked woman cages her helpless victim. God closed Hannah’s womb so that she can come to God for the answer to the problem! She became desperate to pray not just for an ordinary child (like her mate’s) but for a special extraordinary child, a boy in particular. Once she totally surrendered to God’s plan and purpose for her ‘womb’ Samuel, the great man of God was conceived. Later more children came.

In the Book of Job 24 you see that there are wicked people who rebel against the light of God. They hate the truth. They are murderers and thieves. They attack or seduce the weak, the (emotionally) needy, the helpless, the lonely, the widows, the barren and the childless women. For long time it seems that they are successful in their evil deeds. It looks like God is ‘sleeping’. But you should know that God sees and knows everything. Continue to pray!  Have faith in God! This is the truth: God will judge them at last. Don’t be sorry for the devil! God loves you! Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday, today and forever!

Let’s pray: “Dear Heavenly Father, I come to You by the Blood of the Lamb. I thank You for hearing my prayers and supplications. I know that all power belongs to you. You can open any door. You can open any womb. I pray that You grant me the gift of motherhood. Like Hannah, I vow to give You back the children You give to me. I shall train them in Your ways the best way I can. I take authority in the name of Jesus and I reject every evil spirit of wickedness of the order of Penninah! You evil spirit of darkness, of rebellion, of evil provocation, inferiority complex, jealousy, worldly ambition, seduction, ‘Mammy Water’, Jezebel, Ogbanje, hot temper and depression… I command you all to go away from me in the name of Jesus! Every evil covenant done by wicked people, in the shrine, in the coven, in the trees, in the sea or under the earth, so that I will not marry, or I should divorce, or not enjoy my marriage, or be barren, or miscarry… I destroy them all in the name of Jesus! I decree confusion in the camp of my enemies! You my enemies come against me one way but you shall split and run away in seven ways! I plead the Blood of Jesus over my life, my marriage, my children and my destiny! Holy Spirit please come and fill me afresh! I vow to give God alone all the glory for the breakthrough this day! I declare that it is well! It is done! Let peace reign! In Jesus name, amen!”
