I found this simple and beautiful prayer in the notes of my dear husband, Pastor Richmond Sisan Leigh. This should be about 2010. He was studying ‘heaven’ in the Bible. He was always fascinated with heaven and worship. There is no doubt in my mind that he was saved and that he had the assurance of salvation. He is now in heaven! His faith has finally become sight. I imagine him over there, happy, dressed in white, walking on the streets of gold and ‘gisting’ with Apostle Paul. I also imagine him near the throne of God, worshipping Him forever! This living hope in my heart is now my daily strength! Glory to God!

“Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for giving me the revelation of heaven, my eternal home. I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and I know that one day I will see You face to face in heaven. I see in the Bible that there are beautiful things over there. But most of all, I want to go there to be with You and to worship You forever. I pray that You increase my hope and my faith in You. Thank You for writing my name in Your Book of Life! I give You praise forever! In Jesus’ name I pray, amen!”
