The following are some medical facts:

An abortion is the termination of a pregnancy by the removal or expulsion of an embryo or fetus from the uterus, resulting in or caused by its death. An abortion can occur spontaneously due to complications during pregnancy or can be induced. Abortion as a term refers to the induced abortion of a human pregnancy, while spontaneous abortions are usually termed miscarriages.

This is what I found on the internet: According to WHO (World Health Organization) there are an estimated 40-50 million abortions per year. This corresponds to approximately 125,000 abortions per day!!!

In the USA, half of pregnancies are unintended and four in 10 of these are terminated by abortion. There are over 3,000 abortions per day. Twenty-two percent of all pregnancies in the USA (excluding miscarriages) end in abortion

Women in their 20’s have the highest abortion rates. Black women are 4 times more likely to do abortion than the white women. 37% of women obtaining abortions identify themselves as Christians (Protestant or Catholic)

 

On average, women give at least 3 reasons for choosing abortion: 3/4 say that having a baby would interfere with work, school or other responsibilities; about 3/4 say they cannot afford a child; and 1/2 say they do not want to be a single parent or are having problems with their partner. Only 12% of women included a health reason. Pregnancies from rape or incest, fear, poverty, shame or social discrimination were other factors why they chose abortion.

 

This is the Word of God!

God gave you a mouth to speak. You should use it to pray praise God and to preach His Gospel. You should also encourage people in need. Lastly, God commands us to open our mouth and plead the case on behalf of them who suffer innocently or are wrongfully condemned to death. These victims are not able to speak or defend themselves. To speak is a privilege. Not all people can speak. If you have a platform, no matter how small, from which you can speak to others, use it well! It is the gift of God, an open door of faith!

We are to be self-employed defense lawyers for all silent victims. I don’t know if you are hearing this call to ‘borrow’ your mouth on behalf of just causes? There are many examples of silent suffering. The kidnapped girls of Nigeria, the Pakistani woman stoned to death as a honor killing, the Sudanese woman who says she wants to be a Christian…The secular press does its own good work in many cases.

But the worst of all is abortion! This is because the baby in the womb cannot speak at all. To commit abortion is murder. It is the sin of shedding innocent blood. And God hates it!

 

“These six things the Lord hates,

Yes, seven are an abomination to Him:

A proud look,

A lying tongue,

Hands that shed innocent blood…” (PV 6:16, 17)

 

MY TESTIMONY OF GRACE

I can say with Apostle Paul:

“I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has strengthened me, because He considered me faithful, putting me into service, even though I was formerly a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent aggressor. Yet I was shown mercy because I acted ignorantly in unbelief; and the grace of our Lord was more than abundant, with the faith and love which are found in Christ Jesus” (1Tim 1:12-14)

 

Abortion is a difficult subject. Most of us we prefer to ignore it and keep our mouths shut.  We wished that there is no unwanted pregnancy in this world. We wished that all unwanted pregnancies will just miscarry ‘naturally’ without the mother having a guilty conscience. We deceive ourselves thinking that an embryo or a fetus inside has no soul; that a little ‘thing’ in the womb is not ‘really’ a human being. We deceive ourselves that a baby who has never cried is dead. We deceive ourselves that nobody will miss an unwanted baby for whom there is no tear to shed. Oh, these many excuses…I know these so well, for as an unbeliever I performed abortions on myself and others. I did it in ignorance of God’s law. I did not believe that God exists and that showed in my actions as well.  Once I became saved, abortion was the first sin I repented of. Since the 14^th of March 1986, I never practiced abortion, as a woman or as a medical doctor. Surprisingly, God called me to ministry and gave me the heart of a mother to many sons and daughters in Christ, of all colors, all over the world. This is God’s grace in action. To Him be all the glory!

 

So now I open my mouth like a holy trumpet and speak as loud as I can! Please hear me!!!!! HELLOO!!!

 

Dear Sister! Please, do not abort your baby! All excuses for abortion are lies! God loves you and your baby! The truth is that God will make a way for you and your child! Money will come! Shame will go away! Fears will flee! You will not regret having a child, even if initially unwanted! This baby may be the only baby you can ever have! If you do not want the baby, still do not kill that baby! Give the baby away for adoption! Children as a blessing, a gift and a reward from God! Do not reject or destroy your own blessings, your rewards! Do not throw away your crown!

 

Dear Sister, if you have already done abortion in the past, and now you struggle with guilt and regret, then come to Jesus! Let the Blood of Jesus wash your sins away! Let God give you a new heart and a new beginning! Forgive yourself too as Christ forgave you! God did that for me! I am a woman of God now! God can do it for you!

 

Dear Sister, you who chose to keep the baby, well done! God bless you!

 

May God’s grace and mercy be revealed to you! God’s grace is greater than all our sins! Peace be with you!

 

In Christ I declare:

I am born again!

I am sinner saved by grace!

The Blood of Jesus speaks on my behalf!

I am forgiven and free!

I am healed and delivered from the sin of abortion!

I am a woman of God, a servant and an ambassador of Christ!

To the glory of God!
