ENMITY AND VICTORY

(Fasting and prayer day 24)

TESTIMONY
This morning, a sister form our church found this dead snake on the floor, in her bedroom. The head was crushed and the neck broken. Nobody knows how it entered the house and nobody knows what killed it. She is safe!

This is the word of God:
“And I will put enmity (open hostility)
Between you (the serpent) and the woman,
And between your seed (offspring) and her Seed;
He shall [fatally] bruise your head,
And you shall [only] bruise His heel.” (Gen 3:15; AMP)

We are in a season of spiritual warfare. As a born again Christian you should not stay of ‘survival mode’. Each victory is the result of active prayer warfare led and empowered by the Holy Spirit. In the Bible we are told that the same God of peace has commanded ‘enmity’ between the Seed of the woman (who is our Lord Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace) and the serpent (the devil and and his demons). Enmity is more than occasional anger or hatred against your opponent. It means an attitude of deep seated dislike and ill-will that has a rational explanation. Therefore, there is no peace between these two parties. There is no settlement between the Church of the Living God and the devil. These are two eternally separated camps. Compromise means defeat.

Jesus did not die on the Cross to redeem the devil because he is declared to be un-redeemable. Jesus died on the Cross for our sins, to save us the believers and tor reconcile us to our Heavenly Father. On the Cross, the devil used the rusty nails to (only) bruise His heal. But by His death, our Savior fatally and eternally bruised, crushed the devil’s head. There is no doctor, no hospital and no medicine where the devil can be cured from this mortal head injury he received at Calvary. Never forget! The victory of Christ on the Cross was total! Nothing can be added and nothing can be subtracted. On the Cross He said: “It is finished!” The devil is a defeated foe! Nothing and nobody can change that! We do warfare from the knowledge that our Lord Jesus Christ, the Captain of our salvation can never lose any battle. In Christ, we are lead from one triumph to another. May you take the Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God and enroll in the battle!Your testimonies shall increase! The victory is sure! Jesus is Lord!

In Christ I declare:
I am a child of God!
I hate the devil!
I love God!
I have the victory!
To the glory of God!
In Jesus name
Amen!
