I SEE THE EXIT OF MY PROBLEM

“No temptation [regardless of its source] has overtaken or enticed you that is not common to human experience [nor is any temptation unusual or beyond human resistance]; but God is faithful [to His word—He is compassionate and trustworthy], and He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability [to resist], but along with the temptation He [has in the past and is now and] will [always] provide the way out as well, so that you will be able to endure it [without yielding, and will overcome temptation with joy]” (1Cor 10:13, AMP)

Generally speaking, life is hard. There are many trials, temptations and obstacles in our way. The devil is wicked and the flesh is weak. Life is hard even for the Christians. We have faith but this faith must be tested to become strong, mature and fruitful. That is why God allows trials to come our way. But in this scripture, we find one of the greatest encouragements in the Bible. There are so many lessons that we should learn before the trials come. In that way, when (not if, but when) the trials come, we are prepared for them and overcome them easier.

The first lesson is that trials come. They are painful and stressful. But we should not be surprised and taken unawares. Secondly, the strategy of the devil that attacks you is predictable. He is not creative. The devil makes nothing new. The way he attacked Adam and Eve, that is how he will attack you. By reading the Bible we find all the ‘secrets’ of the devil and prepare the right defenses against them. The third lesson is that God is there with you in the middle of that trial. God remains faithful to His promises and nature. People and things change but God never changes! “Jesus Christ is the same; yesterday, today and forever” (Heb 13:8). No matter how difficult things may be, God is still good, merciful, all- powerful, all-wise and generous. His grace is greater than all your sins! His power is made perfect in your weakness! His wealth will suddenly manifest in your poverty! His miracles overcome your sickness! God is not a limited weak man like me and you. God is not intimidated by any difficulty you may face. God is forever true to Himself and He shall turn your trial into a great testimony! God will glorify Himself in your life! God will give you the eyes to see the way of escape and the strength to endure the trial without backsliding from the faith.

The way of escape means to see the exit in a dark building. Most men are able to identify the gate, the entrance, the beginning of their trial. For example, they say…’Since I got that sickness, I became weak’… ‘Since I was fired from my job, I became broke’…They see how the problem entered but they cannot see the way it will go away. God promises to show you the way out, the exit door of that trial. The great spiritual lesson is that trials come and go. They do not stay with you forever. Child of God, you shall not always be weak, sick, poor or restless. Say ‘good bye’ to these problems for they shall soon be only a fading memory. Fear not! Jesus Christ is the King of kings and He sits on His throne! He has the last say in all that concern you! Have faith for a mighty deliverance, healing and breakthrough! See the exit of that problem!

“Fear not! Stand still and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will show to you today; for the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you shall see them again no more forever!” (Ex 14:13)

GOD GAVE THE INCREASE

“I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that plants any thing, neither he that waters; but God that gives the increase. Now he that plants and he that waters are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labor. For we are laborers together with God” (1Cor 3:6-9)

The service was very good. We prayed against evil spirits of religion, sickness, armed robbery, depression, poverty and fear. The praise was wonderful. Have you seen children worshipping God in Spirit and in Truth? We are blessed to have children like Lolade, Ibukun and Yemogho, little girls who love Jesus with all their hearts, ministering in songs and prayers. Of course, the Holy Spirit responded and came down on us all. Then the message followed:

The church at Corinth was gifted but worldly. The brethren quarreled, got jealous on one another and divided the Body. These are the marks of carnal baby Christians. The cure for such a spiritual sickness is to become mature believers. God saves us and ‘hire’ us as laborers for Him and with Him. If you are saved by Christ and refuse to work for Him, you shall remain immature spiritually. You will be jealous on others, on their blessings and you shall quarrel every day. But if you chose to obey God’s call for service, He will reward you. The greater the labour the greater the reward. The more you are faithful to God, giving Him all the glory, the greater shall be your reward.

There are different forms of ministry and each is rewarded by God. Men can preach and men can encourage with the strength of God. But no man can make you fruitful. Only God gives the ‘increase’. The meaning of increase is to make ‘better’ . Only God can make the seed grow into a tree. Give thanks to God for your increase. God has blessed you, your family and business! Continue to serve Him to the end! May God make your life ‘better’! In Jesus name, amen!

SEVEN BRIDES FOR ONE GROOM (2)

“And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying: We will eat our own food and wear our own apparel; only let us be called by your name, to take away our reproach” (Is 4:1)

This is a parable: seven desperate women hold one man begging him to marry them. Seven women take hold of a man. So, who are these seven women? Spiritually, the man is a symbol of Christ and the woman is a symbol of the church. The church is called the Body or the Bride of Christ. The seven women represent the seven churches in the Book of Revelation. They are backsliders, worldly believers. They want to ‘marry’ Christ. They choose Christ for themselves! But this is the truth: You did not choose God. You did not want salvation. It God who has chosen to save you! It is by His grace alone! This is the Biblical pattern: The man choses his wife! Christ choses His Living Stones to build His church! Only in Christ the guilt and the reproach of sin can be removed. Jesus died for our sins! Not because we merit, not because we pray for it. It is the grace of God. We are saved not because we have food and clothes, but it is the mercy and the grace of God. This is God’s sovereign will. He calls, choses and saves those whom He wants. Nobody can force God, bribe God or deceive God into salvation or eternal blessings.

The Lord Jesus Christ is the Judge of all the earth. He is described here as the Branch of the Lord, beautiful and glorious. He shall execute judgment upon all sin. His judgment starts with His House, His Church, His Bride. The Lord will purge His Church and by His Blood, He will remove any stain of sin. Jesus Christ is the Baptizer with the Spirit and fire. He will ‘wash away the filth of the daughters of Zion… by the spirit of judgment and by the spirit of burning”. Fear God and obey God! That is the whole duty of man!

But you, Child of God, fear not! God has promise to protect and guide His people as He did in the Old Testament. The Holy Spirit will be His pillar during the day and the cloud of fire in the night time. But you need to submit to God! You need to move on with God. Study the Word and pray that you may be truly saved becoming a mature believer! The Spirit shall circumcise your hearts. God shall perform His surgery. The Bride of Christ shall be pure and beautiful. ‘The fruit of the earth shall be excellent and appealing’. The remnant who survives the fire of His Jealous love shall be called holy. This is the work of God displaying His glory. May we be the partakers of such a wonderful blessed promise! In Jesus name, amen!

SEVEN BRIDES FOR ONE GROOM (1)

“And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying: We will eat our own food and wear our own apparel; only let us be called by your name, to take away our reproach” (Is 4:1)

This is a parable: seven desperate women hold one man begging him to marry them. Seven women take hold of a man. In Hebrew, the word ‘to hold’ describes a warrior. It means to be strong, to seize somebody, to be stubborn, urgent, hardened, to fight like a man and to prevail. These seven are strong women who are ready to use any means to win an argument or a battle. They can seduce the men if that brings them success. But if seduction fails, they are not afraid to provoke their husbands or their leaders to open confrontation, trying to take over their positions of leadership. These women want to lead. They have their own resources and money. They even have their own clothes. All they want is to rule and reign over men.

So, who are these seven women? Spiritually, the man is a symbol of Christ and the woman is a symbol of the church. The church is called the Body or the Bride of Christ. The seven women represent the seven churches in the Book of Revelation. Number seven means perfection. Therefore, these assemblies represent all the New Testament churches to the end of time. If you read the letters of the Resurrected Christ in the Book of Revelation you discover that five out of the seven of these churches are in error, are backsliding. They have forsaken their ‘first love’. They commit spiritual adultery and Christ, their Bridegroom is angry with them. These churches love the world and imitate the world. They stop preaching the true Gospel. They preach another gospel, receive another spirit and worship another ‘jesus’.

Now you see the false church in action. These seven women hold on to one man fighting for marriage. Who is this man? It represents Jesus. Biblically, it is the man who find the wife (PV 18:22) and not the woman who finds a husband. Biblically it is the man who provides food for his family and the wife is the helper. But here we see that the women provide for themselves. They do not need a man for that. Why? It is because they do not want to submit to their husbands. It is because they do not want Christ to rule over them! These women want to ‘marry’ Christ; they want peace and joy but reject the Holy Spirit. They trust in themselves for salvation. They trust in their prayers. They think that by living a good life, by working hard, by giving money to the church or by taking the Holy Communion, they become saved and righteous. These women think that they can manipulate Christ, that He will do what they want, that He will answer all their prayers, even if they pray ‘amiss’. These women are deceived to believe the doctrines of the devils that shall become more and more common in these last days (1Tim 4:1).

But you child of God be encouraged! Jesus has already married you. Nothing shall separate you from His eternal love! No need to fight with others to gain Christ! He is already yours! Just worship Him! Give Him all the glory!

THE WISE MASTER BUILDER

“According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it. For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ” (1Cor 3:10, 11)

As a congregation, we are getting ready to move to our new church building. As a family, my husband and I, we are getting ready to move into our new home. We are counting the days. The work is much but the grace is supplied. We have prayed for an easy transition and God has answered the prayer more than we could have imagined.

Many sisters have asked if they can come and help with the work in our house. With all the pots and pans on the floor, the offer to help is natural. That was so good of them. But to each I gently and firmly said ‘no’. Is it because I do not need help? I do! But it is a spiritual principle that for every new work you need to lay the foundation yourself. He that lays the foundation is ‘the owner’ of the land, of the business. Together with my husband, I need to be alone in my house as I quietly and prayerfully decide where each item goes to. I need to know where my things are located in this new house. I need to wash the plates and things placing them on the shelves by myself.

Later, I may delegate responsibility to others ‘to build’ on our foundation. Time will tell if I need that help or not.

This is the counsel of Paul, the ‘wise builder’. It is good especially as you contemplate the start of a new ministry, building project or business. You need to lay the foundation yourself! Dig deep until you touch the Rock of Ages! You need to be secure in that new beginning! Laying the foundation is safety for the future! You have to do what you have to do! Sharing a vision too early, delegating work to others before the foundation is laid by you, spiritually speaking, that is a dangerous step! There is a time to work and there is time to rest.

Now, for us, it is the time of blessed work for God! The foundation for our ministry and home is Jesus Christ and Him Crucified! Him we preach! Him we serve! On Him we rest our tired bodies and souls! Praise God for this new beginning! The glory of the latter house is indeed greater than the former! To God be all the glory!

STRONG PEACE

“Observe therefore all the commands I am giving you today, so that you may have the strength to go in and take over the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess, and so that you may live long in the land the Lord swore to your ancestors to give to them and their descendants, a land flowing with milk and honey” (Deut 11:8-9)

Obedience to the Word of God releases supernatural strength to deal with every situation, no matter how difficult. We are getting ready to move into a new church building and into a new house. The challenges are many…but God’s grace and strength is supplied more than enough. I was there every day for the past two weeks, arranging furniture and things. I was not sure how hard it will be, carrying load accumulated for all these years. I prayed for strength, physical and spiritual. Strength was released from above. My muscles ached but not too much…

Something special surprised me… Strength came… Not in the way I anticipated…Strength manifested in the form of supernatural peace inside the new home. Surprisingly, I do not feel strange in a strange place. I do not feel like a visitor going to a hotel. I feel at home. I go from room to room just to have my feet touch all the floors… This is my new home on earth. I still do not know where to dispose the trash etc but I feel peace about the new home. Peace envelops me. It is the peace of God in the midst of transition, of changing seasons with ease, peace to move to a new address. This is strength to enter and to posses my possessions.

According to the Word of God we shall live long and enjoy the sweetness and the goodness of this land. To enjoy life, that is strength. To have peace, that is strength. This evening I feel strong and secure in the presence of God.

“Lord, I am grateful, for Your strength and for Your peace”

OBEDIENCE BRINGS BLESSINGS

PRAISE REPORT

This is our testimony! We built out new church by faith alone. We did not take any loan from bank or wealthy men. As pastors and parents we did not beg for money. We did not manipulate the Word of God to “preach money”. We preached Christ Crucified and His Gospel. We obeyed the Word of God. We worship God alone! Money came like shadow following us. We are very jealous over God’s testimony in our lives. That is why God is jealous over us too. This is our testimony: Jehovah Jireh supplied all the money, strength, wisdom and all. To God be all the glory!

This is the Word of God:
“The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them. So you shall not turn aside from any of the words which I command you this day, to the right or the left, to go after other gods to serve them” (Deut 28:12-14)

THE CLOUD AND THE CAMP IS MOVING

PRAISE REPORT

“The cloud of the LORD was over them by day when they set out from the camp. Then it came about when the ark set out that Moses said, “Rise up, O LORD! And let Your enemies be scattered, And let those who hate You flee before You.” When it came to rest, he said, “Return, O LORD, To the myriad thousands of Israel.” (Nu 10:34-36)

Seasons change… We change… But God never changes! This change is not easy but necessary. It is not just in the natural but especially in the spiritual. The worm has become a butterfly!

This is our testimony! We build this our house in 1985. It was a hospital for many years. We also lived in it. Our children grew up in it. My husband and I said it many times that we shall die and be buried here. But God had other plans. In 2000 we sold the medical equipment and started a church called Father’s House Bible Church. We retired as medical doctors and became full time pastors. About four years ago the Holy Spirit directed our attention to another land to build the house of God. That included relocation. We shall live in the building of the new church.

This is radical move for all but especially for me. We moved furniture, pots and pans. As I was sweeping today I had to say good bye to my home in Warri Nigeria, where I lived for thirty years. I shall leave this broom behind. Good bye Tombrifa close! Welcome Warri-Sapele road! This shall be our new address! It comes with new anointing!

The cloud is moving and we must move with it. No enemy shall stop the progress of the church of Christ. We shall come to find rest in the new place! The presence of God leads the way! It is time to move on! The gated of hell cannot prevent or stop the move of God! There shall be progress, profit and prosperity ahead! Father’s House is blessed! Warri is blessed!

May your dreams also come true! For the God who promised them to you is able to perform them!

Today is my first day in my new office, in the ‘Promised Land’. God is good to me and our family, both natural and spiritual! To Him be all glory!  Praise the Lord!!!!!!!!!!

THE LORD IS WITH US

WAITING ON GOD (Day 6)

“The land we passed through to spy out is an exceedingly good land. If the Lord delights in us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us, ‘a land which flows with milk and honey.’ Only do not rebel against the Lord, nor fear the people of the land, for they are our bread; their protection has departed from them, and the Lord is with us. Do not fear them.” (Nu 14:7-9)
Today was the last day of our fasting and prayers program in the church. Pastor R S Leigh spoke to the congregation. He said that all the church leaders who spoke this week had something in common. They spoke the Word boldly, encouraging the brethren to trust God for their future. They spoke like Joshua and Caleb who brought a good report that gave God all the glory. He said that we should not fear the future, for God has gone ahead of us to make the crooked paths straight. He said that we should not fear the ‘giants’ in the land or the opposition coming from our enemies, visible or invisible. We should not fear those who are jealous on our success or those who flatter us unto destruction, trying to steal our joy. We made a fresh vow to give God all the glory for the new sanctuary He has provided for His people. We vowed to always point to Jesus when people will ask questions about the new church or the success of our lives.
Pastor Leigh said that everybody should be involved in one ministry or another. He said that the Body of Christ is one, but made of many members (1Cor 12). Any member who is idle is useless and shall be cut off by the Lord. Working for God will increase your days on earth. To be a ‘spectator’ in the church is suicidal. The brethren who work faithfully in the House of God shall be rewarded by God. This is His promise. This message of working for God and the reward associated with it has been the basic message this week. We ended with thanksgiving to God for His presence in our church and our lives. Really, there is nothing that compares with the presence of God over a people. You can’t buy that with money. Man cannot give or take it. It is the grace of God in action, the overflow of the workings of Calvary. Praise the Lord! Glory to the Lamb of God!

HAPPY GENEROUS CHURCH

WAITING ON GOD (Day5)

“Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness” (2Cor 9:10)

This was the fifth day of fasting and prayer in our church. Sister Mercy shared the message. The text was from 2Corintinans 9: 6-15. The following are the main prayer points. We are transitioning from a ‘small’ church to a much bigger one. We need to be responsible servants of God. We need to (re)-dedicate our lives to the service of God who loves ‘a cheerful giver’. We should never be passive in the house of God. We need to initiate good things without any pressure from outside. We need to be generous with our talents, money, time and energy. God knows everything and He will surely reward us.

God saw this great building before we even knew about it. God sees your success, your harvest even before the beginning of the sowing season. The farmer is not in control of the harvest. He can only sow the seed, patiently trusting God for the increase. We should do the same. Let us do our part and God will do His.

As we are moving to a much bigger place, there is a danger that the influx of strangers will ‘dilute’ our commitment and we may compromise. God forbid! The faithful brethren shall continue to be faithful in all circumstances. We should love and serve one another. Can you imagine how it will be if each one of us thinks of creative ways how to better serve God and man? This is a happy church which God will surely bless. We have a good foundation. Now it is time to build on it! This is the time for a new anointing! This is a time for a fresh touch from God!

PROSPERITY IN THE HOUSE

Then Pastor R S Leigh had a prophetic word: every person who steps in the new sanctuary shall be blessed financially! We all shouted AMEN!  To the glory of God!

THE FEAR OF GOD

WAITING ON GOD (Day 4)

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge… is to hate evil… is the instruction of wisdom, and before honor is humility” (PV 1:7; 8:13; 15:33)

Today was the fourth day of fasting and prayer for our church. Pastor Trish shared the message. These are the main points: as we transition from a small church to a much bigger one, we should remember that it is God’s gift to us as a congregation. It is a gift of grace. No man or woman should share the glory that belongs to God alone. We prayed for the fear of God to come upon us. We need to take God much more seriously. This should manifest in all things, big or small. The fear of God is practical. For example: as long as the church’ toilets are still dirty, it means that we do not fear God enough. We prayed to be responsible sons of God. We prayed for the strength, wisdom and humility to serve God better. Then God will honor and reward us, for God does not owe any man. We prayed for the healing of our bodies. We also prayed for good happy marriages and for our children.

THE FREEDOM OF GOD

Pastor R S Leigh had a prophetic word: God has decreed freedom from your bondage! He reminded us of the story of Exodus. The children of Israel were slaves for 430 years. They lost hope that things will ever change. But one day (say: ‘one day’), Moses came. He was sent by Jehovah God, “The I am that I am”. Against all odds the deliverance happened. Freedom came at last! The children of God do not weep like the pagans during opposition or times of trial. They trust God to the end and the impossible becomes possible. The oppressor will be totally defeated! The enemies of God’s people shall fall and rise no more! Then we sang: “Who is like unto Thee, O LORD, among the gods? Who is like Thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?” (Ex 15:11). Rejoice for the mighty miracle of freedom from oppression! Rejoice at what God has done for you!

GOD SEES YOU

“Do not despise this small beginning, for the eyes of the Lord rejoice to see the work begin… For these seven lamps represent the eyes of the Lord that see everywhere around the world.” (Zech 4:10)

You have been praying and praying for a breakthrough. It may seem that nothing new, nothing good happens in your life. That is a lie! The ‘good’ of God is planted as a miracle holy seed in your heart. How can you see a seed underground? How can you see a baby hours after he or she is conceived? There is no scan or X-ray strong enough to detect these new beginning. God wants to glorify Himself in this new beginning. “We live by faith and not by sight” (2Cor 5:7)

Do not despise these little beginnings just because they are still invisible (for now)! God is at work in your life. He has never stopped blessing you! Why will He stop now? Be encouraged as you wait of God. Soon you shall see the seed germinating and growing up! The yellow seed of corn shall become a tender green shoot growing up to the glory of God! Things will change, but for the better! God sees you! God blesses you! Your miracle has started! I believe!

SERVE THE LORD

WAITING ON GOD (Day3)

Today was the third day of fasting and prayer in our church. The response so far is very encouraging. Each day at 5 pm the brethren come to pray. Each day the church is full like it is Sunday service. Today Pastor Timi shared the message. These are the main points: We are transitioning from a ‘small’ church to a much bigger one. God is calling us to serve Him, to be willing volunteers in His house.  There is need for the brethren to come and join the different ministries. Just like Gideon called the people of God saying that there is need for the sword of the Lord and that of Gideon. God calls people to His service so that He can bless them.  He said: “The sword of the Lord and of Gideon!” (Jdg 7:18). We prayed for our church activities in December: the Nativity Drama, the Dedication of the church and Jesus Mega Party. We prayed that God will be in control and many souls will be saved thru them.

We are to pay our ‘vows’ to God. We have promised to worship and serve Him. Now is the time to do so! As we are faithful to God, He will answer our prayers. God will bless us. “Offer to God thanksgiving, And pay your vows to the Most High. Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me” (Ps 50:14, 15).

We also prayed for our marriages, that God should have mercy and stabilize our homes. This is the truth: if the home is in confusion the church will be weak. We need strong stable and godly families. Lastly, we prayed for our health. Some brethren are too sick to attend church services. We prayed for miracles of healing, for peace and joy!

BE STRONG AND COURAGEOUS

WAITING ON GOD (Day1)

“Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go” (Josh 1:7)
This week we are fasting and praying. We do it in the unity of the Spirit, as a church and as a people. This message came at the end of the first day. It was taken from the Book of Joshua Chapter 1. Pastor R S Leigh said that as we wait on God, as we sacrificially serve Jesus Christ, as we study the Word of God, as we pray, trust and obey, then God shall ‘prosper us wherever we go’. Distance and time is not a barrier to God’s prosperity for His people. We re-dedicated our lives to God. We made a fresh vow that as a church we shall not deviate ‘to the left or to the right’ from the Gospel of Christ Crucified and Resurrected.

We are now ready to ‘cross over’ into the Promised Land of promises fulfilled and dreams come true. We shall seek the Kingdom of God. We shall not seek money or fame. We shall worship God in Spirit and in Truth. We shall not worship the new building, money, men or things. We reject legalistic religion! We shall desire to be filled and to be led by the Holy Spirit! We shall continue to faithfully and humbly walk on the royal way of the Cross. We shall cross over into the new building without accidents loss or panic. We shall rejoice always with grateful hearts at what God is doing in our midst! Miracles, healings, spiritual and financial breakthroughs shall come to us. We declare that we shall prosper in all things, body, soul and spirit! All to the glory of God! In Jesus name, amen!

WALKING TOGETHER

“Do two walk together, unless they have agreed to meet? (Am 3:3; ESV)

Spiritually, to walk it means to make progress or to prosper. In Hebrew, the word ‘to agree’ it means not only to be in harmony with one another, but to agree to meet at a particular place and at a particular time. To walk in agreement it means to agree about the starting point and also with the destination of a journey. In the Old Testament this same word ‘to meet’ appears in two different places. God tells His people that He will meet with them at the entrance of the tabernacle where two lambs have to be sacrificed every day. God will also meet with Moses and Aaron, in the Holy of holies, above the mercy seat. This pattern speaks about the beginning of the journey with God and the fulfilment of it, knowing and dwelling in His glory.  In both these instances God says that He will meet and speak with His people.

“And the other lamb you shall offer at twilight; and you shall offer with it the grain offering and the drink offering, as in the morning, for a sweet aroma, an offering made by fire to the Lord. This shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the door of the tabernacle of meeting before the Lord, where I will meet you to speak with you” (Ex 29:41, 42)

“And there I will meet with you, and I will speak with you from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim which are on the ark of the Testimony, about everything which I will give you in commandment to the children of Israel” (Ex 25:22)

In The New Testament, we start our journey at the Cross and end it in glory, in heaven. The agreement of the beginning and the end of the journey, of walking together, is vital in maintaining the relationship. It applies to relationships between people and especially marriages. We walk together as children of God. As we walk together, the topic of our conversation is very important. This is my desire: I want to talk about Jesus and the Word of God. If you are not interested, I will leave you behind… We cannot walk together except we have agreed on this point.

Now that you know my mind, and if you agree to my conditions of friendships, and if you are ready to live for the glory of God, then let’s go! Be my friend! Let’s walk together…

FORGIVE YOUR SPOUSE

“Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times? Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven” (Mt 18:21, 22)

The prayer meeting was wonderful. We worshipped the King on the Throne. Then the message came. It was about happiness in marriages. Forgiveness is the glue of marriage. Marriage is tough work. For example, Mandela did hard labor in prison for 27 years. He forgave his enemies. But even he could not forgive his wife and they divorced six years after his freedom from prison. The devil attacks marriages but forgiveness neutralizes the strategy of the devil. Forgiveness is expensive but necessary to manifest the love of God. Forgiveness is hard because it is not just a feeling but obedience to the Word of God. Forgiveness is costly. You pay the price for evil you chose to forgive. But forgiveness is designed by God to give you liberty!

In this world people offend one another. You cannot escape that. Even in the marriage, the risk of hurting one another is very high. You can respond in two ways: forgive or not forgive. Each is a choice. Forgiveness is more than a feeling. It is a choice. Forgiveness leads to freedom, peace and joy. Refusal to forgive leads to anger, bitterness and bondage. The choice is yours. Forgiveness is not something you do on and off. It is a life style. You practice forgiveness daily, when it is needed and when it is not. The Holy Spirit helps you to walk this road, so that when you are offended it is easy to forgive.

A healthy marriage lives under the sky of grace. Forgiveness is an advice to troubled marriages. If sin comes, when confession of adultery comes, you may ask if your marriage can ever be the same. Yes, it can be, if you practice forgiveness. By the grace of God, it can even become better! Look at the father and his prodigal son! He thought he will be a slave. He thought that things cannot be like before! But they became better! Thru repentance and forgiveness their relationship became better.

Many people lose hope in a marriage when they need to forgive again and again, especially for the same sins. Practicing forgiveness is an attitude. It has to be done patiently by at least one of you. It is hard. But this is the sure road that leads to success in marriage! Your forgiveness must be rooted in God! Forgive the way God forgave you in Christ Jesus! Be like Jesus!

THE SNAKE IN THE GARDEN

“Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?” (Gen 3:1)

You may experience spiritual attacks. The devil will attack you, to destroy your testimony. Stand firm in your faith as a child of God. Resist him and he shall flee from you! Your testimony as a believer is more precious than silver and gold. Read Genesis chapter three and see how sin entered that beautiful garden and into the innocent hearts.

Satan comes and attacks you like this:

*DOUBT: he will question your faith in the Word of God, trying to inject doubt in your spirit… “Did God say…?’

*LIES: he will give you false hopes…’you shall not die’…But he is a liar. He gives the false impression that he has authority over death. Only Jesus has the keys of life and death!

*PRIDE: he tries to bring pride…’you shall be like God’

*FAILURE: he will give ideas that will fail you; false covering …’leaves to cover your shame’

*FEAR: He will attack you with fear…Adam and Eve hide behind the trees

The chapter stars with Satan asking questions. Then God comes into the scenes and asks: Adam where are you?

Be careful with the questions you listen to! The fall of Adam and Eve has affected all humanity since then. You and I are born sinners and we need a personal Savior. The only way to be free from the curse of sin is thru faith in Jesus Christ! Give your life to Christ! That is the best decision you will ever make!

CHAINS ARE BROKEN

HAPPY WITH CHURCH TONIGHT
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Heb 13:8)
We had a wonderful service. We praised God and we prayed. We broke all chains of bondage, of limitations around our ankles (that we may walk and make progress); around our waist, that we may be fruitful; around our chest that we may breathe, around our head, that we may see, hear and think with the mind of Christ. We heard the chains falling down. The chains are broken! We tasted of His freedom. We became free. All glory to God!us Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Heb 13:8)

This is the Word of God for them who fast and pray: There shall be healings, protection, answered prayers, fresh testimonies, guidance; supernatural strength, satisfaction and joy!  To the glory of God! In Jesus name, amen!

“Your light shall break forth like the morning,

Your healing shall spring forth speedily,

And your righteousness shall go before you;

The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.

Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer;

You shall cry, and He will say, ‘Here I am….

Your light shall shine in the darkness,

And your darkness shall be as the noonday.

The Lord will guide you continually,

And satisfy your soul in drought,

And strengthen your bones;

You shall be like a watered garden,

And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail” (Is 58:8-11)
