I REMEMBER THE PAST…

This morning I remember the past, when old things became new…

ImageGod was calling me, I tried to answer in my own way… I bargained with Him: ‘Lord, I will give You my money…or my job as a doctor…or my (good) reputation…what else do You want from me?’ – I asked in desperation…

He then said: ‘IT IS YOU THAT I WANT…BE A LIVING SACRIFICE ON THE ALTAR OF MY PLEASURE…TAKE YOUR CROSS AND FOLLOW ME…NO CONDITIONS, NO COMPLAINTS, NO GOING BACK…LOVE ME MORE THAN THE WORLD…YOU WILL NEVER REGRET THE DECISION…ETERNAL FRUIT WILL BE YOUR REWARD!’

‘Yes, Lord…’

That was spoken with my last breath… I died to myself, to my world, to my plans and desires…I remember the place where I died…

Now, I no longer live, it is Christ who lives in me and I live my life by faith in the Son of God who died to set me free!

All the glory to the Lamb who sits on the throne!

Amen!

You look so beautiful! Even as a young lady, I can see that God had a plan and a purpose for you. Proud to be a part of your world. Old and new! But mostly the new 🙂

Thank God you said Yes Lord. Many including myself have been blessed from God’s plan and purpose for your life.

When you said Yes, Lord… You were able to minister Yes Lord to so many sons and daughter of God.

Thank you for your obedience to His calling

I often look at the past to draw out inspiration for the future. The fire has destoyed the shame of sin and what is left now is God’s imprint upon it. For things truly work together for good, for they that love God and for they who are called accroding to His purpose.

I have regreted many things in the past, but never the decision to give my life to Christ! Each day the story is getting better, for ‘His mouth is sweetness itself and He is altogether lovely’ (SS 5:16)

It’s a delight to see scriptures fulfilled in your life ‘thy youth is being renewed as the eagles’… It also encourages me.. Knowing as the year rolls in and by.. Grace never wanes..
Thanks for saying ‘Yes’ to the call
Thanks for the love of Christ that you share and continue to share.. These fruits shall abide for all times in Jesus name.. Amen.

Regret is: sorrow coming out from recognizing that the damage done in the past is beyond my power to repair. All my regrets are buried at the foot of then Cross. Out of that tomb, the testimony of fruitful life springs forth. This transformation that reveals immortality and makes it so attractive is available in Christ alone. Free from the burden of sin, from the addiction to rebellion, I move on. ‘Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday, and today and forever!’ (Heb 13:8)
