“Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good;

Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! (Ps 34)

We are commanded ‘to taste the Lord’ for He is good. In Hebrew the word ‘good’ is very powerful. It means favor, prosperity, healing, beauty, joy and sweetness. It is not enough to live your life thru other men’s experiences. It is not enough to like your pastor’s preaching. You need a personal revelation of who Jesus Christ is. You need your own personal testimony of salvation, deliverance and healing. You need to have an intimate fellowship with the Person of God the Holy Spirit. You need faith in God! Men have disappointed you…is true…but, listen to this:

“God is not man, that He should lie or a son of man, that He should change his mind. Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not fulfill it?” (Nu 23:19)

It is not enough to just admire God from afar. It is not enough to just be religious or go to church. You need a real encounter with the Living God. This is not the work of your imagination. It is a real experience. Many saints over the years testify that God comes down to touch and bless the seeking souls. You need to honor your Bible by reading it! You need to take the Word of God in your mouth and eat it. The Word of God is not ‘chewing gum’ that after some time you spit it out for lack of entertainment and flavor. No! The Word of God is the Bread of life, able to save and feed your soul. Open your mouth! Open the door of your heart! Let Jesus come in! Be filled with the Holy Spirit!

“I am the LORD your God, who brought you up out of Egypt. Open wide your mouth and I will fill it” (Ps 81:10)
