“When He was alone, the Twelve and the others around him asked Him about the parables. He told them, “The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those on the outside everything is said in parables so that, they may be ever seeing but never perceiving, and ever hearing but never understanding; otherwise they might turn and be forgiven!” (Mk 4:10-12)
There are only two groups of people in this world:
• The insiders (the children of God). They see and perceive; they hear and understand (appreciate the value and enjoy the Word). Jesus speaks to them and gives them the secrets of the kingdom, the deep revelation of His Person. They are forgiven and free from their sins. They are saved!
• The outsiders (religious unbelievers). They see but lack spiritual perception; they hear but lack understanding (they do not appreciate the value and do not enjoy the Word). Jesus speaks to them in parables, veiled truth, protected from the eyes of the mockers. They are not forgiven and still live in sin. They are not saved!
Questions: Why do you stay outside the door? Are you not tired of deceiving yourself and others? Why not truly repent of sins and come inside. There is forgiveness in the name of Jesus!
In Christ I declare:
I am a child of God! The Holy Spirit leads me to the all truth! The anointing of the Holy Spirit teaches me all things! The secrets of the Kingdom of God belong to me and to my descendants forever that we may obey the Word of God! I dwell inside, under the shadow of the Almighty God! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
