“When they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives” (Mt 26:30)
At the end of the Lord’s supper God gave the disciples a ‘new’ song. The effect of taking the bread and the wine in a correct manner, will be that a song of worship will be released from within; a deep, intimate and bubbling song, the voice of the Spirit coming from the Hope of Glory inside your heart. The Blood of Jesus releases the song like a bird out of its cage. That song is the proof of freedom and of the finished work of Calvary.
Pray during the Holy Communion at your church, that the Holy Ghost will come down like a mighty rushing wind, like fire over the prepared sacrifice. May people sing and dance, weep and laugh, all to the glory of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit!
In Christ I declare:
I am saved by the Blood of the Lamb! I am sanctified by His Word which is Truth! I am filled and lead by the Holy Spirit! I shall worship the Lamb forever! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
