FOUNDERS’ DAY (2021)

This Sunday we had a thanksgiving service celebrating the life of the founder of our church, Pastor Richmond Sisan Leigh (Tali), who went to heaven on the 3^rd of July 2020. We praised and we worshipped God with songs. Many brethren, family and friends testified about Tali; how he has changed their lives for good. Tali loved God. Tali was passionate about knowing and serving God. Tali was a preacher and a teacher of the Word of God. Tali was a worshipper who worshipped God in Spirit and in Truth. Tali loved all people. He was a humble man. All his life he directed people to the Cross, to Christ Crucified and resurrected. At the end, Pastor (Mrs) Silvia Lia Leigh said that Tali was the most successful and fulfilled Christian she has ever met. He ran the race with faith, confidence and joy. He saw the glory ahead and paid the price to experience it, first on earth, and now in heaven. From now on, every year, the first Sunday of the month of July, we shall call it the Founders’ Day. We shall remember the way we started this ministry, the sacrifice paid for the worship to continue. Tali’s last words on earth were these: “Jesus, I love You! To God be all the glory!” Worship the Lord!
