Many years ago, I had the amazing opportunity to sit with one of my voices of influence at a coffee shop. I had watched her for years, an incredibly successful worship leader, the writer of some of the most renowned worship songs, and here she was, sitting across from me. I wouldn’t let any word she spoke fall to the ground.

She poured life into my heart. To this day I’m so grateful for that moment, but something she said has stayed at the forefront of my life as a worship leader… she said “Jemine, remain faithful, just simply continue to be faithful.”

Recently these words were heavy on my heart and I knew a song was forming in my spirit. I typically stew over words and scripture for each song I write, but this time, the words just poured out.

.2 Timothy 2:13 says “if we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself.”

My prayer today is that God will always finds us faithful. Whatever you’re doing, on the top of the mountain, or the depths of the valley, in trial, or triumph, let him find you faithful, doing all you do as unto him.

Jesus, find me faithful!
