“When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own house, his possessions are undisturbed. But when someone stronger than he attacks him and overpowers him, he takes away from him all his armor on which he had relied and distributes his plunders. He who is not with Me is against Me; and he who does not gather with Me, scatters” (Lk 11:21-23)
Our Lord calls the devil ‘a strong man’. In Greek the word means someone who is able, forceful, valiant and boisterous. These words describe someone who is a commanding soldier, very active on duty, bold and courageous.
Let no one ignore the power and the influence of the devil upon the sinners. The devil is king in his evil domain. No one is stronger except the Son of Man, Jesus Christ, our Lord. There is no greater power except the Blood of the Lamb shed on the Cross of Calvary. No man can win a victory against the devil except in the name of Jesus and in the strength of the Holy Spirit. There is no power that can defeat death except the power of resurrection. That is the only key of victory, the royal way of the Cross that leads to heaven.
The devil has a house, or better said a prison. He guards it day and night. His victims are called ‘his possessions’. They are all inside undisturbed and in peace. These are the unbelievers who have a fake peace with God. They are fed lies for breakfast, deceptions at lunch and flatteries for diner. Their drink is poisoned doctrines and their snacks are made of false hopes. The demons are the house managers pretending to be angels of light. The system runs well. All citizens just work, eat, sleep and party. No questions about life and no dreams are allowed. The churches are also business centers. The prayers are monitored and all sermons edited. There is peace like in a cemetery.
‘All is well…’ they say…
One day the centuries long peace was disturbed. The Prince of Peace came down from the Cross and attacked the city of the dead. The king of that domain, the prince of the power of the air prepares to run away but he is arrested by the One stronger than him. He who trusted in his beauty and wisdom falls down at the feet of the eternal Victor. Reluctantly he opens his bony hand and gives up the keys of life and death. The angels hurry to the cells. Heaven and earth is anxious to see how freedom’s chains are removed and slowly, she walks on her feet.
The radio palace sounds like crazy. A new voice fills the air. Justice is finally done. This is a miracle, nothing less than that! Breaking news: “The kingdom of the world has become the Kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever!” The Greater One has won! All glory to God! “The time has come for judging the dead…and for rewarding Your servants the prophets and Your saints who reverence Your name, both small and great and for destroying those who destroy the earth!” (Rev 11)
Dear friend…Come to Jesus! There is no middle ground! If you do not gather with Him, you will scatter and waste His grace! Come and win souls in His name! Come and lift up His banner! Come and fight His battles! Come and gather His harvest! For it has been decreed and none can change it:
“He shall see the travail of His soul and be satisfied!”
In Christ I declare:
I have true, genuine peace with God!
I am a child of God!
I am a soldier in the army of Christ!
I can never lose!
I gather with Christ!
Wherever I go the fragrance of Christ is felt and it changes the atmosphere!
I am free! My family is free!
I dedicate all my crowns to Christ, my Lord!
In Jesus name
