“Since we have such a huge crowd of men of faith watching us from the grandstands, let us strip off anything that slows us down or holds us back, and especially those sins that wrap themselves so tightly around our feet and trip us up; and let us run with patience the particular race that God has set before us. Keep your eyes on Jesus, our leader and instructor. He was willing to die a shameful death on the cross because of the joy He knew would be His afterwards; and now He sits in the place of honor by the throne of God” (Heb 12:1, 2)
Life is hard. Giving up your faith in God is not an option. When you walk with God you are not free from problems. But God is with you right in the middle of it all. Nothing is new to God. He knows the future. Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Job, Joshua, Daniel, the woman with the issue of blood, apostle Paul and many other heroes of faith, these all ran the race to the end. You must do the same!
You are not alone. God is stretching His hand towards you. Continue to pray. God is a God who answers prayer. When He keeps silent, God works on your behalf. God is with you wherever you go. The Bible is your ‘Bank account’. When you are in need, open the Bible and you shall surely find the answer between its pages. With men things are impossible. With with God all things are possible.
You may feel alone, but you aren’t. You are surrounded by an army of witnesses. They have run the race of faith and finished well. It is now your turn. Struggles may come. Do not hate them. Do not fight them. Do not reject them. Embrace them. God uses struggles to strengthen your faith, to bring you closer to Him and to change you to be like Jesus. Do not say: I am in a terrible situation. Say: I am in the middle of a miracle! God will reward you for that suffering! He knows how many tears have fallen on your face! This pain, this disappointment is not the last chapter of your story with God! Never give up on God! God will do awesome things in 2018! I believe! Revival shall come! Jesus is Lord! Be strong in The Lord and in the power of His might! It is well with you! In Jesus name, amen!
