Thank you for all the messages on face book, I look forward to them everyday, thank you for availing yourself to be used so mightily by God.
I also want to thank God for my sister… she has totally changed, the joy of the Lord is so much in her. She said the amount of knowledge, revelation and understanding the Holy Spirit has given her through the word of God between last August and this January is more than she can tell. There so much excitement in her about the word of God. She is really happy.

Dear son,

Forty years ago this day you came into our world. Your arrival made us a true family. Your dad and I we were young and romantic. You added to that romance…

This day I remember how I felt as a young mother, having you in my arms for the first time…I cannot explain how I felt…All I remember now is joy, adventure, hope, pride, singing, calling your name aloud… l was not a Christian, yet I saw the light of God on your face…Maybe what Jochebed felt when she saw her baby Moses…a special child…heaven sent…

For many years I could not relax when looking and later thinking of you…I wanted the best for my baby…What I had to offer seem so small… So I struggled as a mother… Yet I loved you the best way I could… You were almost grown up when I became a believer in Christ. From that moment on I understood the grace of God, His unmerited favor to me, a simple girl from Romania coming to Nigeria, God saved my soul and gave me an extraordinary child…From that time on I started praying for you, that you become a man of God…

Yes, God loves you John…from heaven to earth and back to heaven, Jesus loves you…

Your dad and I, we pray for you daily…for your wife and for your children…

And at that moment the glory of the Lord, coming as a bright cloud, filled the Temple so that the priests could not continue their work” (2Chr 5:13, 14; LB)

PRAISE REPORT
This was Sister U’s testimony: Last year she almost got married. A young man she met thru fb proposed to her. They fixed a date and plans were on the way. They were to marry last November in our church. One day her fiancée’s friend called her and said: ‘I am sorry for you. I see that you are a child of God. My friend who wants to marry you is deceiving you. He is a liar and a cheat. He is a jobless man and a fake. U did not believe at the beginning. Later she discovered the painful truth. The young man who wanted to marry her was a deceiver. She broke the relationship. For months after that she was seriously depressed. She looked sad and old. But she continued to do her work in the church (she is an usher and she cleans the toilets). For ten years she worked in the market. This is so that she can pay her school fees. She comes from a broken poor home. Two years ago she graduated from the College of Education with a bachelor degree in Education. But she got so used to selling in the market that she could not resign that work. She was afraid to stand and trust God for a new beginning. Eventually she resigned on the last day of last year.
In the month of January she decided to fast and pray every day, for an encounter with God. On the 5th day the miracle happened. She was holding her CV in her hands, knelt down in the church’ toilet and she prayed and cried to God. After that, she stood up and by faith she went to a big private school to look a job as a teacher. She had no experience and she knew nobody. The first person she met was a woman she had never met before. This woman was the owner of the school. The interview was done on the spot. The principal asked her some questions and she answered. When God is in charge no interview is ‘normal’. The discussion went like this…
“Are you looking for a job? Yes Ma! Do you have experience as a teacher? No Ma! Are you born again? Yes Ma! Do you speak in tongues? Yes Ma! What church do you attend? Father’s House Bible Church Ma! Are you from Father’s House where Dr. Leigh is the pastor? Yes Ma! Wonderful! I love this man’s preaching on the TV…I saw the Nativity Drama…I made a covenant with God that if anybody comes here from Father’s House I will hire the person, no matter the qualification…you are hired my dear…Just thank your God!”
I have never seen U so happy. She was glowing with the glory of God. The old depression has disappeared. We prophesied that she will marry 2015. This word is settled in heaven and on earth! In Jesus name, amen!

THE GLORY CLOUD
The prayer meeting was indeed wonderful. We shared testimonies about the goodness and the power of God. The testimonies (like tehone above) only added fuel to the fire. Then, we praised God with all our strength and with all our heart. The anointing was so strong that people could not sit down on their seats. We could not have a regular, business as usual service. O, how I love it when the Holy Ghost comes down. The very atmosphere is charged with the glory of the eternal. Faith increases like never before. Nothing and nobody looks the same. Ugly people look beautiful! Foolish people look so wise! The praise went on and on… the adults sang…the children sang… the congregation sang and danced… In the God’s presence there are eternal indescribable holy pleasures…Yes, God was happy with us tonight! All the glory to the Most High God!

In Christ I declare:
I am a child of God!
My testimony shall be fruitful!
To the glory of God!

“Let the wicked fall into their own nets, while I pass by safely” (Ps 141:10)
The Manchineel tree is found in Florida, the Bahamas and the Caribbean. The name means ‘the little apple of death’. The tree and its parts contain strong toxins, some unidentified. Its milky white sap contains phorbol and other skin irritants, producing strong allergic dermatitis. Standing beneath the tree during rain will cause blistering of the skin from mere contact withthis liquid (even a small drop of rain with the milky substance in it will cause the skin to blister). Burning the tree may cause blindness if the smoke reaches the eyes. The fruit is fatal if eaten. It produces severe gastroenteritis with bleeding, shock. There is no specific treatment. Care is supportive. In some places the trees carry a warning sign of death, while others are marked with a red “X” on the trunk to indicate danger. However, many trees are still unmarked.

 
“Because you have kept the word of My perseverance, I also will keep you from the hour of testing, that hour which is about to come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. I am coming quickly; hold fast what you have, so that no one will take your crown” (Rev 3:10, 11)

Today I saw a strange picture in the internet. It was the coronation of Miss Brazil 2015. The officials were placing the crown of her head. Suddenly, the runner-up attacked her and forcefully removed her crown claiming that she is more beautiful than the winner. Of course ‘the loser’ was disqualified on the spot for such an ugly act. And the crown came back to the queen. This picture reminded me of a scripture from the Book of Revelation.

Read the scripture above. This is a warning to the believers. It comes from the resurrected Christ. To be a king it is more than just to have ‘luck’ or money. It is more than just to have a crown on your head. The devil is a thief. Men steal crowns and titles. There shall be a testing to prove true royalty. The word ‘test’ means to endure the pain of piercing without complaining or desiring to backslide. If you take your cross daily and follow your Jesus, your King, you shall get used to the pain of piercing and you shall be able to endure any other pain.

You need to value the price paid for your salvation and for your crown. Jesus died to set you free, to bring you into His family of kings and priests. This honor of the saints must be jealously guarded. You need the strength of the Holy Spirit to preserve your testimony. You cannot depend on the power or wisdom of your flesh, for it shall fail in the hour of trial. Your crown is a badge of royalty, the prize of a champion in the public games, a symbol of universal honor. Your crown is the visible proof that God has rewarded your silent, behind the scenes, faithfulness in all things. Hold fast to it! It is yours in His name!

Also, never forget that you have a mortal enemy. The devil hates God’s favor and reflected glory on you. He wants to steal your reputation, reward and testimony as a believer. He is a wicked, greedy, jealous, covetous and violent enemy. He will attack, bribe, manipulate or deceive to take your crown. Be watchful and pray.

The way to keep your ‘crown’ is ‘to keep the Word of My perseverance’. The word ‘keep’ appears two times. It means to guard from loss or injury by keeping an eye on it. It is what the commander of a prison does. No prisoner can be kidnaped or escape from within. Or it is like a mother observing her baby; he can go very far for the mother watches him.

You need to be patient, to persevere in all trials. Waiting on God is not easy but is a command from the Word of God. You need to remain humble and faithful as you wait. The devil will bring a proposal for you to become restless or doubtful. The devil will try to deceive you to promote yourself. The good and noble heart produces fruit thru perseverance. The promises of God are fulfilled thru faith and perseverance. God knows that you are waiting for Him. He knows how slow the time passes. He knows every moment and counts every heartbeat. You are not alone in this holy waiting. You are blessed as you wait for God to come ‘quickly’. Read and meditate on the Word of God. Patiently and faithfully bear the trials of life.

In Christ I declare:
I am a child of God!
The devil attacked me but he lost the battle! Again!
I hold fast to my crown, to my reward!
God is my reward!

“Be not deceived: evil companions corrupt good character” (1Cor 15:33)
I heard a story. There was a man who had a beautiful bird, a canary in a cage. Each day the bird was singing wonderful songs of praise to God. The man loved his bird. One day he thought that the canary was too lonely and decided to hang the cage on a tree in the garden. Many sparrows came around the cage to ‘talk’ to the canary. Some months later he brought his bird to the house. To his surprise the canary could not sing again. It could only say: ‘tweet…tweet…’ just like the simple sparrows. He has lost his wonderful gift of singing and learned to behave like an ordinary bird.

“Now when they drew near Jerusalem, and came to Bethphage, at the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples, saying to them, “Go into the village opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Loose them and bring them to Me. And if anyone says anything to you, you shall say, ‘The Lord has need of them,’ and immediately he will send them.” (Mt 21:1-3)

This is the story of a little female donkey and her colt. She is just an ordinary animal but interestingly, her story is part of the Word of God. She was a mother. She was ‘tied by the door without in a place where two ways met’ (Mk 11:4, KJ). In other words, the owner tied his donkey by the door of his house, which was in the middle of a junction. Jesus commanded His disciples: Go- Find her- Loose her and Bring her to me! And if you are asked for an explanation, simply say: “The Lord has need of them!” This is how the donkey and her baby came to Jesus. No man ever sat on this donkey before. Jesus was the first to sit on it and this is how the King entered Jerusalem according to old prophecy.

This is my story…I am that donkey. My life had no meaning until I met the Lord.  I had an ordinary life until the Lord sent His servants to call me to Him. I and my children were tied by chains of sin, at the door of hell; in bondage to unbelief, fear and foolishness. I was tied down at the junction of confusion, unable to make up my mind, to trust God or not.

Then one day two men looking like angels came and said that Jesus needs me. I was surprised and afraid at the beginning.  But the joy of the coming encounter suddenly sprang in my soul. The two servants of God told me the story of their Master. They said that Jesus is the most wonderful man! They said that Jesus Christ is the Lord of lords. They said that Jesus is God. That He has the power to set the captives free. That He brought back His friend Lazarus from the death. Their Gospel brought peace and joy and hope to my heart. Can Jesus love even a donkey?

In the power of His name, they loosed my chains and set me free. I could have stayed tied to sin forever if God did not have mercy on me. Jesus died to set me free. God does not need anybody, yet He said he needs me. Amazing grace…What a honor? No man sat on me. But coming to Jesus, I just knew that I have to humble myself and submit to His glory weight. I carried my King into Jerusalem. People were shouting Hosanna! Hosanna! They waved branches to the King. My baby and I heard it all! We were totally forgotten in the midst of that celebration… But for the first time I knew that being used by God, becoming nothing that my King be all in all, this is my destiny. I was born to carry my Lord into fame and praises! Little me, I lifted Jesus up that day and all men were drawn to the beauty of my Lord! This is my story! If donkeys can sing, then this is also my song!

“And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to Myself.” (Jn 12:32)

“And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles. Now all who believed were together, in one accord…” (Acts 2)

The day of Pentecost came. With it, a sound like ‘a mighty rushing wind’ filled the room where the disciples sat together, in one accord. The Holy Spirit invaded the earth according to the promise of our Lord. He already said it that some people will not die until the Kingdom of God will come with power. Even John the Baptist said that he baptizes with water for the remission of sins but another One shall come, much stronger, who will baptize with the Holy Spirit and fire. Prophet Joel said it that in the last days, the Spirit of God shall fall on men and women all over the world. So the Holy Spirit came to fulfill prophecy in Christ!

Jesus died on the Cross. Fifty days later the promised Holy Spirit finally came. His coming announces to all that ‘this’ Jesus Christ is now in heaven and He is the King of kings, seated at the right hand of God the Father. Many men travel abroad and they get lost. We don’t hear anything from them again. But when Jesus ‘traveled abroad’ to heaven, He sent the Holy Spirit to keep in touch with earth and to encourage us to finish the race. One day we shall see the King face to face. What a day that will be…

The sending of the Holy Spirit gave birth to the Church, the Body of Christ. The Holy Spirit brings us together. He makes us one in Christ. That is why the believers did all things in common and had fellowship in ‘one accord’. In Greek, this word means one mind, one passion! The unity of the Spirit is necessary for a healthy church, for the anointing of Spirit and life to flow down, from God to men.

This is our testimony: The secret of Father’s House Bible Church Warri, Nigeria is the constant un-grieved blessed presence of God the Holy Spirit in our midst. He heals, delivers, leads into all truth, helps us to worship the Lord Jesus Christ and keeps us humble and teachable! Miracles, signs and wonder follow the preaching of the Word!

To God be all the glory!

Together we held hands and sang:

“Bind us together Lord, Bind us together, with cords that cannot be broken…There is only one faith! There is only one King! There is only one Spirit! That is why we sing…Bind us together Lord…”

The Prayer meeting was again very good. These days I just prepare the sermon and pray.I give ample room to God to do what He wants to do. The holy adventure makes my heart tremble with excitement. I feel like I am the pastor and also the congregation. I am not in charge. The Holy Spirit is in charge. Thank God! The brethren shared testimonies. A brother who plays the keyboard in our church for almost 20 years bought a land to build his first house. God provided all the money in bulk just thru a supply business he received thru a phone call. Yes, we shall have testimonies of encounters with Jehovah Jireh. More to come…We praised God and then the message came…

The Roman Catholic introduced the idea that wealth and pleasure is sinful. Many believed this doctrine and became monks. They gave up their earthy possessions and made covenants of celibacy and poverty. On the other extreme, the world ‘preaches’ materialism. The truth is that wealth is not sinful but it can be potentially dangerous for the soul. We need the Holy Spirit to navigate in these troubled waters to arrive at the Truth! Holy Spirit come!

The parable of the shrewd servant (Luke 16) is not easy to understand. Many get confused by reading it. Jesus intended it for His disciples but the Pharisees were listening too. On the surface, it seems that our Lord praises a deceitful man. But this is not what He says. Thru this story, our Lord tells us to be wise with our temporary resources on earth and to use them to gain spiritual eternal gains. Wealth, resources (money) can be used in three ways: Spend it; save it or invest it. This is divine wisdom for us the believers. Pray that the Holy Spirit helps you to understand!

This is a story about investments. A rich man had a steward who was in charge of his goods. The word ‘steward’ means a house manager, a treasurer, a servant who is in charge of his master finances. His master’s check book is with him. He buys provisions for the home and deals with the master’s clients. It is a position of trust. He was possibly a former slave who was set free and now he works for his master

One day the rich man hears that his manager was wasteful with his property. This word ‘waste’ is the same as with the prodigal son. He calls him to give an account for his job is terminated. Immediately the steward thinks of a plan so that he can benefit even in the absence of his job. He knows that his present situation is terrible. But he can do something so that his future is secure. He calls his master’s debtors and he reduces the amount they owe to the master. It seems like his master was a whole sale trader and many people buy from him to sell retail. The steward blesses these men by reducing their debt. He knows that they will be grateful and will remain his friends for life. Favor is repaid with favor. He cheats his master to gain favor with men. He knows that he can end homeless. He cannot ask his master for a good recommendation so that he can have another job like this. He cannot do hard labor. He is too ashamed to beg in the streets. By blessing his master’s debtors, he secures for himself a place to stay in the future, a home, a family and the fellowship of friends.

Why does Jesus commend this deceitful man? Not because he was cheating his master. But because he uses what he got at the present to invest in a better future. Jesus said that this man was shrewd. He knew that he has a limited time to use the master’s resources. The wealth and position will eventually ‘fail’ him. He could have wasted his few hours at the office in weeping for his loss, or begging to stay. Even in the crisis he did not give up. He found a plan to gain something for the future. He sponsored his future dreams. He invested in his hope.

Jesus says that we should invest wisely. In the world, investment is defined as spending or devoting money for future advantages. Having this in mind, men open savings accounts in the banks. They also buy shares in good companies so that later the interest will be added to their capital. In the world, there is always a risk when investing, for the value of money or the shares may fall. The only safe place to invest your life, your money, your dreams and all is in the Kingdom of God!!! Selah!!! This is the prophecy given by Isaiah and fulfilled in Christ:

“For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of His government and peace
There will be no end” (Isaiah 9)

The only place to invest where there is no risk is in the Kingdom of heaven. Its Government authority, its peace and prosperity shall know no end. This is because of its eternal ‘increase’. In Hebrew, the word ‘increase’ it means interest on capital, the greatest part of a whole. This ‘increase’ shall have ‘no end’. It means that the interest on your capital is limitless. No man or demon can cut it off. The word ‘government’ means an empire, a royal kingdom, a monarchy that will always prevail. The word translated ‘peace’ is shalom. It means perfection, safety from enemies, good health, prosperity, favor and friendships.

For example, when I place 100 naira in the offering basket, having faith that it is God’s, this is a deposit in my heavenly account. The interest on the money shall increase forever. Until Jesus comes all my descendants shall benefit from it. ‘The Bank’ called the Kingdom of heaven will never lose capital or interest. My deposits shall be fruitful and increase forever. I say that it pays to serve the Lord! Does this sound too strange for you to believe? But as for me and my household, we believe God’s Word and we serve the Lord! Can I hear a loud AMEN?

In Christ I declare:
Jesus is my Savior, Lord and the Owner of my Bank!
I invest in the Kingdom of God!
My interest on capital will increase v forever!
God said it! I believe it! It settles it!
To the glory of God!

“All at once he followed her,  like an ox going to the slaughter, like a deer stepping into a noose, till an arrow pierces his liver, like a bird darting into a snare, little knowing it will cost him his life” (PV 7:22, 23).

Who is the victim of such a crazy woman? The man is described as a simpleton, a foolish man or ‘a youth who has no sense’. Please, remember this: Sin makes no sense at all. You try to describe it, you try to explain it, but at last, you find no words for it. You never know why men fall into its snare, what attracts them to go down to hell.

This man was walking in the evening towards her house. That is the wrong time to go out and the wrong direction to go to. ‘The steps of a righteous man are directed by God” (Ps 37:23). But this is a man who has lost any sense of danger. The devil is in charge of his feet. Like a fly, he goes straight into the prepared net of the spider. The woman comes ready for her client. She is ready and prepared, experienced and skillful. She has the words, the dressing and the actions. The ‘programed’ kiss is there to seal the contract. The promise of free sex is offered. Even religion is added so his conscience is not troubled. The devil tells you that God does not mind if you sin. The husband is not at home… The devil will tell you that sin is safe and all is well. But then, this is the sad end of a promising young man… The tragedy that he is ignorant of his future… He behaves like an animal, an ox, a deer or a bird trapped in the snare…This is the end of the story. Fornication kills! Adultery kills! Pornography kills your soul!

What is the solution? Flee fornication! Run away from danger! Be prudent! Be wise! Go to Jesus! Pray! Pray! Pray! Call the name of Jesus! The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run there and they are safe!

The Blood of Jesus shed on the Cross for the remissions of sins has greater power than any addiction of hell. The name of Jesus is stronger than any other name. Do warfare! Pray for yourself, your husband and your children. Fornication is not normal! Pornography is not normal. Adultery is not normal. These are the games provide by the devil! These are terrible sins that destroy your soul, your body and your destiny. God loves you! I who write this letter, I love you too, for Christ’ sake who saved my soul. Please consider these words and come back from darkness. God is waiting for you. Son, Daughter, come home…

In Christ I declare:

My feet are directed by the Lord!

I do not live by sight but by faith in Jesus Christ!

I submit to God and to the delegated authority God placed over me!

I obey my leaders, my pastors who feed my spirit and have to answer for my soul!

I resist the devil and he will flee from me!

I have no business with fornicators!

I am free from sin by the grace of God!

In Jesus name

“Rejoice not over me, O my enemy; when I fall, I shall rise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD will be a light to me” (Micah 7:8)

Your enemy was deceived to think he has won the battle. God allowed him to be deceived. He has prepared the ‘victory party’. He has hopes that you will become a nobody, a loser, a thing of the past. But he wrong 100%! His wickedness has encouraged him all these years. But he has a false hope that will be cut off.
God is with you even in the trials, suffering, loneliness and all. God will vindicate you at last. Soon it shall be seen that you are a child of God, prince of the Kingdom, a child of light! The powers of darkness tried to capture you but failed for they can never comprehend or hold the glory shine. Your fall was only temporary, to slow you, to humble you so that God can freely bless you above your dreams.
The enemy’s laughter will freeze on his lips. After all these things, he will vow never to attack a child of God!
Your story has not ended. The best is yet to come. Your life is in God’s hands! Your labor on earth shall be rewarded. Wait and see what the Lord will do for you, in you and thru you! Men will say: “God has done great things for this one!”
Jesus is Lord!

“Now therefore, listen to me, my children;

Pay attention to the words of my mouth:

Do not let your heart turn aside to her ways,

Do not stray into her paths;

For she has cast down many wounded,

And all who were slain by her were strong men” (PV 7:24-26)

What is the power of sexual sin? It is the attraction and promises of pleasure. The adulterous woman described here is wayward in behavior but sweet in speech. She is rebellious by nature. She obeys no law except her own perverted desires. She submits to none except to the demonic voice in her head. She behaves erratic and looks crazy at times. But she is a good entertainer. That is why men admire her, for her ‘freedom of speech and action’. She uses flattery with ease. She lies with no guilt at all. She is a mistress of romance, a lover of shadows and forbidding love. She makes the present look attractive, covering up the future which dwells in death. There is no hope with her. She is a restless traveler; ‘her feet do not stay at home’. The temptation of sexual sins is more common than you think. It is everywhere, ‘in the streets and in the squares’. Jezebel is ‘dressed like a prostitute’ who advertises her trade. Most of the fashion houses all over the world are under her control.

(I hope you know that there is a great difference in the appearance of people, between the dressing of a godly woman and one who is successful in the sexual trade. I just felt adding that…)

What is the solution then? Come to Jesus! Cling to the Cross! Surrender your life to the Lord Jesus Christ! Do not just pretend! You may deceive many people! You may deceive your spouse, your friends and your pastor! You may even try to deceive yourself. But you cannot deceive God. And you have to meet this un-deceivable God one day. There is a final judgment one day. Why not make today a decision to live for God, to serve God. Then you shall have peace in your heart, joy in your soul and health in your body. Some people fear that if you become born again you shall be poor and you shall not enjoy life. That is a lie from hell. True prosperity, peace and joy is found only in God’s presence. Please receive these words!

In Christ I declare:

I am a child of God!

I resist and reject any evil spirit of sexual lust!

I come out from among the worldly crowd!

I touch no unclean thing!

I purify myself from anything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God!

I am a holy vessel prepared for my Master’s use!

God Almighty is my Heavenly Father!

Jesus Christ is my Savior and my Lord!

“Stone is heavy and sand a burden, but provocation by a fool is heavier than both’ (PV 27:3)

To provoke it means to wound you with words, to excite your anger. Fools hate your God’s presence with you. They hate your rest and peace. They want to scatter your happiness. They hate when you ignore them. They want you to over- react, to become frustrated. In particular, they love to attack the believers. Fools desire to see you react in flesh and then regret it. They want you to backslide. When you become bitter with God and men, they feel good. When you make mistakes they rejoice for they are champions of destruction.

Do not excuse foolishness! Fools are not ‘innocent and mild’ sinners. When ‘the fool says in his heart that there is no God’ he denies all things pertaining to God and the Bible. They ignore and oppose the Word of God, the Kingdom of God, the servants of God, the Holy Spirit, even the very presence of God that gives them breath. The fools care nothing about cursing, slander or mocking all God’s children. They cause much harm thru their selfish, deadly words. Their main weapon is their mouth; they hurt and destroy the faith of many with their bitter words.

Do not underestimate a fool’s mouth…Do not think that a fool is funny…Do not laugh at their ‘jokes’ for you may be the next victim. Make no friends with fools! Do not marry a fool!

My Testimony…

Maybe you ask, dear reader, how is it that I know so much about foolishness? This is because once upon a time I was the greatest fool myself. I was an atheist until I became 32 years old. I believed in the Big Bang and Darwin’s theory. I too said in my heart and even with my lips: ‘there is no God’…I said that heaven and hell are the imaginations of men…I said that prayer is a waste of time…I said that faith is the deception of the illiterates and ‘religion, the opium of the masses’…I mocked the faith of the Christians and ignored their efforts’ to save’ me…I was a confirmed atheist, as many of my people in Romania, where I was born…These lies were injected into my mind since I was a child… Unbelief was my religion and doubt, my philosophy…

Until the day I became born again…that holy moment when mercy was poured on my head (I can’t think of it and not weep…)… when the true and real grace of God was manifested to my wretched soul…I gave my life to Jesus Christ…I died to sin and to the world… I now no longer live; it is Christ living in me… Christ became my wisdom, foolishness was removed; faith came in, peace and joy followed…O, blessed salvation human words cannot describe…Since then abiding fruits followed to the glory of God!

’Amazing Grace, how sweet thy sound, that saved a wretch like me…I once was lost, but now I am found, was blind, but now I see…’

Lord Jesus, I am forever grateful! To You alone be all the glory! I worship You at Your throne…”

It is my greatest privilege and honor to openly confess that I am a child of God!

I am sure of my eternal salvation! No fool can provoke me enough to deny it!

“My son…. Keep my commands and you will live…Why, my son, be intoxicated with another man’s wife? Why embrace the bosom of a wayward woman?” (PV 5:20; 7:1)

If you feel uncomfortable reading about sexual sins it means you need help. Do not suffer in silence! Ask Help from God! Sexual sin is a terribly expensive pleasure. This is the truth revealed in the Bible: If you are a child of God, a true believer in Christ and you commit sin, you will not lose your salvation. Because of the sacrifice of Jesus and His Blood shed on the Cross, your soul is saved eternally. But if you fall into sin there are many blessings you shall lose. Sin is sin but there is a difference between an unconverted sinner and a redeemed sinner. According to the Bible, a man is either a saint or a sinner.  A Christian does not continue, does not abide in sin for a life time. Sooner or later he will feel bad, repent and come back to His Father. A saved man may fall into sin, may backslide for a while but in his heart he hates sin and desires to repent. But an unbeliever, just like a pig lying in the mud, lives in sin continuously without the fear of God. Are you saved?

What do you lose if as a Christian, you commit sexual sins?

*Your honor, dignity and reputation; your beauty, anointing and your glorious testimony as a child of God.

*Your time; you waste opportunities to serve God; your ministry will be seriously damaged

*Your wealth; you lose the ability to be wise, to make money, to be fruitful, strong and prosperous.

*Your health; you lose your strength, sleep and appetite for food

*Your fellowship with God the Holy Spirit, the joy and assurance of your salvation

If you believe that for every act of fornication the devil will charge you one million dollars, will you still do it? But the truth is that the devil wants more than your money. He wants your soul, your peace and joy!

Lesson! Sexual sins and the love of money are still the basic tools the devil is using to make Christians fall.  Watch and pray! Stay close to God! Be satisfied with the gift of God. Be jealous about your testimony as a servant of God. Covetous, ungrateful, prodigal and rebellious people become foolish and reckless. They end in adultery and waste their lives. This is a wise question God is asking you:  “Why, my son, be intoxicated with another man’s wife? Why embrace the bosom of a wayward woman?” If you want to be ‘intoxicated’ then be filled with the Holy Spirit! That is a clean pleasure with no side effects, shame or regrets! Be drunk with the Spirit and you shall be free!

“And don’t get drunk with wine, which leads to reckless actions, but be filled by the Spirit” (Eph 5:18)

My testimony…

Long ago I prayed that the Holy Spirit will destroy the center of sexual lust and covetousness in my flesh. God answered my prayer! The Cross worked its deep final work in my flesh! It was painful but very effective. My heart became holy. I am still praying that God will perfect His work in me. But I really feel clean and free. I am able to connect with all human beings without the interference of lust or covetousness. The devil has really failed in my heart. This victory is possible! Pray and trust God for the best He has for you! I made a covenant with God that by His grace and power I will never love or desire anything that He has not given to me as a gift. It is the same advice I give to my children.  I always pray to love the things God loves and to hate sin like He does!

“Dear Heavenly Father, please grant us the desire to live according to Your Word and to be like Jesus! In Jesus name, Amen! All glory to You alone!”

“Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (Jam 4:7)

We had a wonderful Holy Communion service this morning. Just before taking the Bread and the Wine I shared a testimony with the congregation. Some time ago a young woman from the church (I can’t call her ‘sister’ because she is not born again, just religious) said she wants to see me. She had a dream and saw me lying in a coffin. Most of the people who come to my office they have needs, they need prayer or counsel. But this woman was different. Immediately she told me her dream I felt the doors of my spirit shutting off, just like the emergency trap of a ship that takes water. I knew she was an agent of the devil.

I had just a second to prepare my attitude and my answer. I felt supernaturally calm and strong. I knew that if I keep quiet she will interpret it as weakness. So I said to her: “Do you want the contract to buy my coffin?” I could see her eyes…for few seconds she thought of it…maybe she can make some money out of this… but then she said “No, Ma’…” May the Holy Spirit be in charge of your attitude, reflexes and responses in case of evil attack!

By the Holy Spirit I discerned the demon motivating her. Sure of the truth, I was ready to attack. I lifted the shield of faith with my left hand so my heart is covered… No unnecessary emotions… With the right hand I lifted the Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. Looking straight in her eyes and speaking to the demon controlling her I quietly but firmly said: “you are a liar!” Immediately she drew back two steps. She lost her ‘cool’ and started fretting. I said to her: “go now!” She was very happy to run away. This is the truth: If I had allowed the lie to penetrate my spirit even for a second, that could have done damage to me. Lies are spiritual arrows soaked in poison. This is how many get sick with depression, anxiety and many other ailments doctors are not able to treat. Do not allow the devil to have even a foothold in your mind!

We took the Holy Communion and did spiritual warfare. We prayed against the evil spirits of Pharaoh and his magicians; against the spirits of false prophets, witchcraft; intimidation, and the fear of untimely death. We remembered our Lord! He said that we should take the bread and wine in remembrance of Him! We did that. At the name of Jesus every knee will bow! The children of Israel were not better than the Egyptians. But they escaped death during the Passover night because they had faith in God and in His Word. The Blood of the Lamb covered their homes. In the same way the Blood of Jesus covers us today! We reminded ourselves that the victory is sure! Jesus paid it all on the Cross of Calvary! Jesus died so that we may live! Our Lord said: “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven” (Lk 10:18). Satan can never rise! He will fall forever!

Lastly, we started singing: “There is power, power wonder working power in the Blood of the Lamb…”

In Christ I declare:

I am a child of God!

I shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord! (Ps 118:17)

Let God arise and my enemies be scattered! (Ps 68:1)

My victory is sure!

ON THE MOUNTAIN GOD SHALL PROVIDE (3)

“And Abraham called the name of the place, The-Lord-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, “In the Mount of the Lord it shall be provided.” (Gen 22:14)

The prayer meeting was very good. We praised God with singing and dancing. Then brethren shared testimonies of God’s miraculous intervention in their lives. This is just one: Sister O who is 14 years old was told by the doctors more than two years ago that she has glaucoma and she will be blind in about 6 months. Yesterday she went to see her eye doctor having complaining that she does not see well. She thought that the power of her lenses became too weak for her. The doctor examined her. To her surprise he said that her sight is improving and he reduced the power of her lenses. That is a miracle. We continue to pray for her.

Then the message came:

“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

“The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!

“No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon” (Mt 6:19-24)

Our Lord gives us instructions as we prepared to have an encounter with Jehovah Jireh. Jesus says that there are two treasures: one on earth and one in heaven. He counsels us not to store on earth because the wealth here is good but temporary. Many things can destroy the treasure here. He commands us to store it in heaven. Yes, Jesus wants us to store wealth in heaven. He does not want us to scatter our blessings, but to gather them, to store them.

If you are a child of God then your Father has opened an account for you in heaven. Let me say this… This account is not for God. Read again! It is ‘for yourselves’. How do I pay in my account in heaven? By using my resources (money, time, gifts etc) for the increase of the Kingdom of God! I cannot carry cash with me when I die. The deposits must be done now, while I live on earth. For example, if I use 100 Naira to buy groundnuts and eat them, that is good. But tomorrow I will be hungry again. But if I place 100 Naira in the offering basket, as an offering to God, it has a greater value. The reward for that will be paid in my heavenly account. It is the same me and the same amount, but different values!

You need to change the way you think. You need to have faith in the Word of God. Then it will not be hard for you to increase your true eternal riches. Your heart will be in heaven where your treasure is. As thieves cannot break into your heavenly account no devil can break your heart. This is the secret why some people are spiritually and emotionally strong. No devil can break their heart for it is un-reachable and un-breakable.

There are also two sets of eyes. The bad eye is the covetous eye, the jealous eye. Because of that, the body, mind and emotions are filed with darkness, with fear and ignorance. For as long as you covet other people’s property and you want to compete with them, you shall not be able to encounter Jehovah Jireh. You may only meet the devil, the wicked prince of darkness. This is the best advice for you: Repent of covetousness! Tell God that you are grateful with His provision for you. Then God will come and meet with you. He will answer your prayers and provide for all your needs, even much more than you imagine!

Finally, there are two masters: God and Mammon. In other words, there are two gods: God Almighty and the devil. Tonight, we made a vow that no matter how much God will bless us we shall only worship Jehovah Jireh, the Giver and not the gifts. God is our God forever! Money is our servant, never a master, never a god.

Now you are ready to move on, to draw closer to God…arms open wide…we receive your package from above…prosperity without sorrow…Lord, we shall surely testify of your supernatural provision, goodness, power and love…we decided to seek the Kingdom of God…all other things shall follow…The Holy Spirit came as a blanket of encouragement and hope, enveloping us. It is so easy to believe even impossible things when God is so near…Thank You Lord for Your sweet presence. You are all we need…the glory covers and we can only worship…

YOUR WILL BE DONE IN MY LIFE
“I thank You Father for the revelation of Your will and plan for my daily life as I see it in Your Word. Your perfect will, not mine, be done in my life! Your plan for me is good and not evil, to give me a glorious hope and a joyful future! I trust all Your promises! I reject doubt!
I thank You for Your will for my life today is to be filled with the Holy Spirit! Your will for my life is to manifest Your fruits of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control! This is Your will for me. It shall come to pass for all to see!
